  1. Thanks I moved the ball back in my stance a little and cutting the grass as you say, I like that. It's working prety good. before I played the ball up and scooped it. For me that is the easiest way to hit my irons. I think I will keep my new ball position and keep playing and hopefully over time it developed. Thanks I liked that advice.
  2. Thanks for all the informaton. I'll check the information out and keep practicing.
  3. Thanks I feel like I may still be scooping or sweeping. I'm getting ready to go out to the range and work on it some more. My 4 iron and hybrid i can feel and see my hands ahead of the club and hit the ball well. I just can't get myself do this with rest of my irons.
  4. Cleveland Hibore XL
  5. there is a lot of golf swings out there, it's similiar to bowling everybody does it diffferent but it works. I played baseball and softball for thirty some eyars before starting golf, so my swing is similiar to a baseballs wing, hit the driver straight but not real far. The question I'm asking is do we need to learn a great golf swing. My buddy say yes to get better. he comes up and swings around roll the wrist, Ernie Els swing he says. I don't seem to be that limber to do all that. Any suggestions would be helpful.
  6. I'm ready to start learning how to hit the ball first then the divot, I've been working some. I've hit a few good shots so far. I sweep or scoop and it works fine. Do I need to change. When I have hit the ball first ball flight is better and straighter. I can find a lot of information on the internet but still don't understnad. If I move the ball back to much rsults in a shank, to far hit it fat, and sometimes just a little ground before the ball and thats work fine. will I get more distance by hitting the ball first. Do i actually hit down on the ball and make the divot or hit the ball then make the divot. Confused as you can tell. I've been fortunate and playing well for my first year put a a lot of time in. And ready to get better.
  7. Has any body seen these or try them. They looked good.
  8. I'm going to try to go this afternoon. Thanks I use the cobra fp sand wedge for this and works well, I need a 60 similiar to it. I beleive this is it. Thanks
  9. I would also like to know more about the 588rs.
  10. Cobra FP, Cleveland Hibore Xl Driver, Hibore Wood, Mizuno Hybrid. This setup has really helped me. I would go to a golf shop and try all the clubs and find the ones that you hit the best. I made the mistake of trying to buy a name brand and use all the clubs it may work for some but it didn't work for me. It would have been cheaper for me to do this first but I didn't.
  11. All wedges are great, just some work better for some people. I've went to Cobra Fp irons and wedges. The wedges are made like irons and are easy to hit, they are other companies that do this as well. I call them cheater wedges, easy to hit out of tight lies and hard ground.
  12. Cleveland Hibore with the fuji gold shaft. Easy to hit and get airborne. The only three wood I've found I can hit.
