  1. Thanks for your responses Phread59 and Dark Prince. Phread59: I did look at some of the used golf clubs but still found them expensive and piecing everything would take a long time. The selection of used clubs where I live is not the greatest either hence why I think getting a beginner set will be best for me as I start out and decide whether I will really be into the game. I appreciate all the advise Dark Prince: Thansk for your comments. I did read somewhere about the Dunlop DDH clubs snapping. I guess it comes down to the Golden Bears and the Wilson K'netics. I'm still really confused about the two. Have you heard good things about the Instinct Set?
  2. Hi All, I just joined the forum and I am new to the game. Absolutely new. I have just started some golf lessons and learning about the game. There are 3 beginner golf sets that I am looking to purchase from my neighbourhood golf shop. These are the Dunlop DDH golf set, Golden Bear Insticts Mens Package and the Wilson K’netic Golf Set. The Wilson and Golden Bear set are about $90 - $110 more expensive than the Dunhill’s. I would certainly pay more for the other 2 brands if the quality was worth it I do not think I will be an avid golf player but would love to be good enough to occasionally go out and “hold my own” with other amateurs I would appreciate it if anyone can give me advice on which brand to go for. Anyone have any ideas or info on the quality, durability and overall satisfaction of the sets? Much appreciated
