  1. I could use some advice on how to fill the gap in my bag. If my target is inside 200 yards, I'm fairly comfortable but outside of 200 yards, I don't have many options. If you include my putter, I only carry 12 clubs. Can anyone help suggest what types of clubs to carry in my bag? I'm not super comfortable with 4 iron. I hit my 5 wood consistently and I'm quite straight off the tee. Even when I split the fairway on a shorter par 5, I find myself laying up top 100 yards with a short iron instead of going for the green in 2. It's been suggested that I get rid of my 5 wood in place of a 3 wood, and to get rid of the 4 iron and carry a 3 and a 4 rescue. At this point, I am still short a club. What am I missing here? Thanks!! My yardage chart: 58* - 100 yards 52* - 120 yards PW - 130 yards 9I - 140 yards 8I - 155 yards 7I - 170 yards 6I - 185 yards 5I - 200 yards 4I - 210 yards 5 wood - 245 yards Driver - 280 yards
  2. Picked up the R11 TP version and gave it a try at the range after a few adjustments. It's a club that took a little getting used to. Overall, I get more consistency out of my R9 460 and will likely keep the R11 in the garage for now.
  3. I do find on missed shots, that the ball fades more-- though the trajectory would be lower, would a stiff flex hold the line better?
  4. I recently bought a TM R9 460 Driver - stock Aldila REAX 60 gram, regular flex I tried it out the range, and I'm hitting it great. Balls just seems to jump off the club face. I am concerned that with my swing speed (close to 100mph) that I may end up just snapping this shaft and that a stiffer shaft is likely better for my swing speed. I went to the local golf outlet here in town, and I was told that they no longer sell any R9 shafts, and that they did not carry the adapter for any other shaft options. So my quest led me to jump online and see what was out there. Couple questions: 1) Is my worry legitimate of snapping the shaft? All the clubs in my bag are stiff, granted I only have one graphite shaft 5 wood. The rest are stainless steel. 2) There are many options to replace the shaft on eBay. Any suggestions here? I'm currently watching a fujikura motore 60 stiff and fujikura motore 65 stiff. Both have the adapter. Do I need to concern myself with anything else? Any other suggestions here? Trying to keep my options under $100. 3) Dexterity of the shaft: as I hit left, should I just assume all shafts are 'right' shafts unless otherwise indicated? Would the settings just be the opposite where 'L' would be 'R', Neutral would be Neutral Upright? Thanks all for any insights to some or all of the above concerns.
