  1. Well I am at the opposite end to you, I have played just over a year and had many lessons but my best score so far is 95 :( My technique is extremely good apparantly but I just need to get out there more and really improve my shortgame. This game is very hard, I am obviously not a natural.
  2. Ok thankyou, I have tried womens drivers and really didn't do well with them, but the problem is that the only womens drivers that you can test locally always have a soft ladies shaft. so I will take your advice and go and get properly fitted, I have been putting off doing this as I really don't like hitting in a small enclosed space as it seems to really put my swing off, same with irons, ladies shafts. I think that I would prob have to have a custom set made up, for grip size, lie, length etc etc. So I will prob get tested with mens clubs and go from there, thanks again.
  3. Yes it seems that if you only make a couple of really spectacular shots the rest are all forgiven. I am very pleased most of the time with my progress though. I really need to work on my putting though, it lets me down. I could make birdies with my shots to the green then uukk. I am just really starting to focus on that now and am making progress. Thanks for your quick reply :)
  4. P.S. I have been playing golf for a year and so my swing has not truly stabilized yet, but I am really quite consistant.
  5. Hi, I am a 5'1' lady, 115lbs and I am looking for new clubs, I have been using a set of beginner clubs, Ashley, Nancy Lopez and find that all of the time I am now pulling all my shots left. When I try a stiffer shaft that doesn't seem to happen, although I haven't tried too many yet. It of couse could be my swing!!!!! I tried my husbands GBB2 when I played with him last week and was really hitting it well reg shaft 200plus even as much as 230., and nicely in the fairway I also tried a hogan stiff shaft at the range and was hitting really well almost 200 with range balls carry only. Does this sound ridiculous? I am tempted to get a mans club but it seems crazy. and do you usually get the same shafts for irons as drivers? I am looking at poss getting the bb fusions or the X18 I am just concerned as I find them a little light, can't feel the heads. Thanks in advance sorry to be long winded.
  6. Hi there, I hit my first golf ball with a lot of difficulty a year ago and have become seriously addicted ever since, I have been enjoying your forum and decided it was time to participate, so "hello" and thankyou for all the info I have used from your site so far.
