  1. I have two Callaway FT5 drivers, one senior flex, and the other regular. The senior flex is a little springier when I waggle them, but when it comes to acutal distance I don't notice any difference. Is this unusual? I wonder if I would find any significant difference with say a 5 iron? Any experience with this out there?
  2. Is there a glossary of golf terms on this site? I heard someone say they keep hitting 'fat' and have no clue what that means
  3. I started playing golf a few months ago at age 62. Total hacker of course but had fun and was improving. Unfortunately, I broke my right elbow and am in a cast. I swing leftie so this is my lead arm. I hope to get the cast off in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if I should excercise for a week or so after the cast comes off before swinging a club.
  4. I understand that flex is a relative term and each company will have their own standards, but in general would a regular flex graphite shaft from company "X" be a tad more flexible than a regular flex steel shaft from the same company?
  5. I began playing about six months ago. I'm retired, so have plenty of time to play but have had several surgeries to both elbows and my rt. shoulder (I'm leftie) so experience severe pain if I play more than twice a week. I'm strictly a super game improvement level golfer who would be happy to break 100 someday. My problem is that I'm 5'6", leftie with permanent limitations. I have a reasonable income, but cannot afford luxuries. Sadly, i have tried several s.g.i.clubs. I play best with womens clubs. They are cut shorter and have greater flex. My ego is such that showing up with "girls clubs" might be too much to take. Can anyone make any suggestions that could help me?
  6. hi, my name is don. I retired to florida and have just started playing. I'm a total hacker at this point but am having fun.
