i am in the market for a new wedge....i currently carry Vokeys but my 60 is warn out...was thinking about giving these a go does any one have one or heard anything about them? just trying to get some information before i make the commitment.

i currently carry a PW -48 GW-52 SW-56 LW-60 and a 64 degree callaway wedge so i carry 5...in my case 4 wouldn't be too much and with those irons i can't see the price but i have heard nothing but great things about adams....if you have it i would say go for it but the Vokey wedges are amazing

No I'm not saying i completely need help choosing i just have so many thoughts of what i want i figured a golf forum would be a good spot to have other educated people of the game tell me what they play what they've heard is good to help narrow my sight because I'm between about 8 different irons right now.

I just used it yesterday i loved how soft they felt off the club the bite around the greens the flight with the driver. I was using titleist prov1x's and after playing a round with the srixons i feel like I'm sold. the only thing is they roll really smooth on the greens which the prov1x's were smooth but not this smooth. I just started this thread to find out what other people thought of these balls and if you are still using them or if there is something better out there.

thanks man the shaft in my hallways i believe is stiff and i don't know if i want blades dude to the fact i have gotten to the point i have with the cavities i feel like i might lose my iron play dude to such a drastic change. and according to the site i keep my handicap on my current handicap is a 1.6 so maybe i should put a 2 but none the less i will definitely keep you posted and thanks again

which ones would provide the spin I'm looking for because my ball strikings gotten to the point where i don't care about forgiveness yea a little would be nice for my off shots but i really want to be able to rope say my 8-p back like i am my wedges

Im going to college for Pro Golf Management so i will get a major discount on everything so its not a huge deal on the price so with the discount and working I'm ready to shell out w.e that will get me to the next level i feel I'm knocking on the door of

I'll give you the one tip i got when i had a...lets call it a "fade" to my drives hahaha. go to the range and and move your hands forward almost to close the club face to a degree you will hook some and draw some and once you get use to it start slowly moving your hands back to the point where A its comfortable and B you are hitting ether a dead straight ball ( to a point i don't know if there is such a thing as a dead straight shot) or a controlled fade or draw. This tip will also help you later as you progress in the game to hit a draw or a fade depending on what the best angle of attack is for the hole. But for right now just get to a point once you get it to where you hit the center of the face and find a median for your hands. ps. if you are having trouble hitting the middle of the face slow down your swing don't worry about distance or flight just get use to feeling the center of the club hit the ball and work back up to your normal pace

Yea most golf retail stores have them well serious ones and they might charge you a fee but if you tell them your interested in a driver ( which will get them more money) but you don't know what shaft you should get and ask about measuring it they SHOULD bypass the fee...welll if they would rather make say 250-400 or 30 bucks its really up to them and yea like i said with you just getting woods and a driver i think you should look at one with a 10 or a 10.5 degree loft its more forgiving then say a 9 or a 8.5 like i play and after you get comfortable hitting the "big stick" you will see the pros and cons to the higher loft and will make a decision for the next one. Honestly i wouldn't sacrifice quality for wanting to get an entry level driver. I would go to a shop where they have used clubs and or look on TGW.com for close outs on last years models like i said got my cobra for 150 and go that route if you don't wanna shell out the money for the latest and greatest which for a person never with a driver in their hands before you probably shouldn't go out and get the brand new in my opinion. For your hybrid idea... man if you're hitting a 3 iron unless you hit a mega slice i wouldn't waste your money on a hybrid...yea could you get 10 more yards and maybe a little more forgiveness possibly. But if you are piping a 3 iron 250 i wouldn't worry about a hybrid unless it will fix a confidence issue which you don't seem to have right now

I agree with both of you i mean a long game is awesome but only if you have an equally as good short game and build on every round. take all the positives and the negatives and work on them thats the key to this game

Honestly i would be careful about the shaft i bought a cobra S2 and i had to replace the shaft (it was a Stiff shaft but tested as a regular) so if you have to get the shaft that comes with it i would go with the stiff because the new light shafts they are making don't hold up very well to high swing speeds but you might have to replace it in the long run anyway. Not to bash cobra because now with the shaft i bomb this driver 295 Average i love it i would live and die by it. Now i do realize the shaft in my S2 was a fujikura and maybe the ZL being a little pricier you will have no problem with it but i would say with a 95 swing speed a Regular would be fine and you wouldn't feel the need to crush it but with the way my shaft was i would go with stiff and maybe the same thing will happen that it turns out its a Regular Hope This Helped
