Shopping Dicks and Golfsmith today for a new set of irons. This is my second year out and I'm not very good, but my mid-range game is terrible. I've been using a set of hand-me-down Acuity irons, drivers, wood and PW, with a Odessey White Hot Putter.
I got a new driver from a buddy, he had a custom drive made and it fits me perfectly so I bought it off him for $100 bucks. I've been looking at various iron sets and think I want a combo hybrid/iron set and am looking for something that would be Game Improving.
Looking to spend between $250-$350. Can anyone make any suggestions? I know the people at Dicks and Golfsmith will, but I'd like to have an idea of what they are talking about.
