  2. Is there any way to clean the crown (white part) of the driver? i have a little spot on it and it is killing me since this was the first day I even hit it (popped it up quite a bit)
  3. haven't been able to decide on rain gloves either. Either going to be the Taylormade H2O or the Footjoy ones. Anybody have any opinion on which provides the better grip and is more durable?
  4. Had my entire bag stolen, so starting off from scratch. Here is what I've come up with so far. Anybody else have any suggestions? 2 Weekend Gloves- 1 Range Glove- 2 Practice Gloves- Rain Gloves- Medical Kit (bandaids, ibuprofen, sunblock, bug spray) Permanent Markers Bag Towel X-Personal Towel with ziplock bag (Taylormade towel) X-Divot Tools (2 in bag) X-Ball Markers (change with 1990 in bag) X-Koozie (USB koozie) X-Weekend Golf Balls (2 dozen Taylormade Penta TP5 (#90) Practice Golf Balls X-Tees (in bag)
  5. How do you guys handle gloves? i used to be a one glove kind of guy. I would use it for tournament play, practice rounds, range sessions, etc. Now, I'm thinking of alternating between 2 practice round gloves, 2 tournament play gloves, and a range glove. My next question is about gloves with thick heel pads. Is there a glove with a thicker heel pad than the Footjoy Weathersof?
  6. that's true, the guy has been great about getting me pictures. Said he had his wife take them because he was out of town, but he sent me 3-4 pictures of the clubhead (thought it looked weird but was wrong) and gave me the serial numbers no problem
  7. just got the serial numbers from the guy on both clubs, Taylormade is unfortunately closed today. I know serial numbers don't mean they are 100% real, but I do feel better about it. Would like some input from guys that buy alot off ebay though
  8. Just won bids on a Taylormade RBZ 3 wood and 3 hybrid for $95 and $55 respectively. They are new, but not in plastic. I know it sounds too good to be true, but the guy has 1,000's of positive feedback compared to ZERO neutral or negative feedback. He provided me more close up pictures as well. Asking for serial numbers now before I make the payment on them. Does anybody see anything fishy?
  9. videos are on youtube but won't attach right for some reason
  10. I've been Playing Golf for: around 7 years My current handicap index or average score is: around 12 My typical ball flight is: straight with irons, workable with driver The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: weak flare/cute to the left with irons, getting long irons higher Videos:
  11. I've been Playing Golf for: around 7 years consistently My current handicap index or average score is: I would guess around 11 My typical ball flight is: dead straight with irons, workable with driver The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: weak flare to the left with irons
  12. I ask this because I have a very unique swing myself. I hood the club going back and it basically stays square from the takeaway until I make contact. I would consider myself a high single digit handicap (really only play home course and I would be a 6 there) and I don't have a great short game to say the least. I hold my own with all the members at my local club, some of which have good "fundamental" golf swings. IMO, as long as I know what makes my swing tick, I think I have the potential to be just as good as anybody else (with my handicap).
  13. I just play whatever I have, looking to get more serious and only play one type of ball. My idea is to get on a launch simulator and record my specs and then post them here and figure out what I need. My ideas are clubhead speed, spin rates, ball speed stats. Anything else I need to add?
  14. I'm 21, have used the overlap since I became serious about the game in around 2004 or so. I've always been a very inconsistent player, ranging from a high 70's, low 80's guy to a high 90's guy. My problem is the club doesn't feel secure in my hands when I'm taking it back. Does anybody think switching to the interlock would be a good idea?
