  2. I certainly hope so! My old irons were pretty hopeless (some weird $150 Mizuno's that don't seem to exist anywhere else apart from my bag) so this is a massive upgrade, no excuses now!
  3. Definitely not shovels
  4. It was definitely a financial decision to not get the 3-wood at the time, I hit my current one pretty well so it wasn't an essential purchase, I don't think 3-wood tech has changed THAT much. Still, the i20 3 wood will be mine soon haha! Although I am going to demo the MP-650 fairway at the same time, I hit the hybrid so damn well it would be silly not to test it out. I've been sick all weekend and it was going to be my first round out with them on Sunday, not happy :(
  5. Alright, I'll definitely keep that in mind next time I hit the range, will post back on the results for sure! Thanks again!!
  6. Hey iacas, Thanks so much for replying, really appreciate your thoughts! You've pointed out a few things that I've honestly not even noticed, I've never been much of a technician with my swing. Really great advice though, can definitely see why those things would be detrimental and definitely gives me something to work on. Something I have been trying (not on that swing) is really getting my left arm tucked under my chin, which in turn straightens it out I think, as well as shortening my swing. This is in conjunction with a better shoulder turn. Would that be a good thing to work on? It feels pretty weird as I've basically had the same swing my whole golfing life, but I get pretty good results on that swing, no more fades, better release into impact and it's much easier to draw on command. Will have to keep an eye on my hip angle, never noticed that they flatten out. Probably doesn't help that I really bend my knees in my backswing, no idea why I do that haha! Thanks again! Jon
  7. Forgot to mention, this is my first set of new clubs in 15 years, it was about time that I treated myself to a new set of shiny sticks
  8. Hot damn these are looking sweet! Just arrived today, 5 days after my fitting, 5 days earlier than expected in fact. Cannot wait to get them out on the course! 9. I've been Playing Golf for: 23 years My current handicap index or average score is: 10 My typical ball flight is: High, baby fade The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Slice Videos: Haven't video'd my swing in quite a long time, so it was pretty interesting to see what I'm doing these days. Would really like to hear some of your thoughts on what I'm doing wrong and what I'm doing right! I'm quite obviously getting very steep in my downswing, which I never realised I did. Probably explains why I've gone from hitting draws to baby fades and the occasional pull. Gets a bit outside-in, which isn't ideal. I'm also really surprised to see my right foot raise so early in my downswing, never thought I did that and I'm not sure whether it's actually detrimental. I've got quite active legs in my down swing, they get moving really early and probably slide too much unfortunately. I'm working on a better turn in my back swing, rotating my shoulders a bit more; which should mean I get better rotation into impact, flatten out my swing plane and sort out that little fade. I'm pretty consistent with my driver, hit the ball about 290-300yds and definitely hit more fairways than I miss, but it would be nice to make some improvements. Keep in mind, this is the first time I've hit this driver since my fitting and it was quite a change from an old 290cc Mizuno T-Zoid T3 to my new i20, looks like I'm swinging a watermelon on a toothpick!
