I am building another driver for myself. I am presently using for my driver shaft a AccuFlex VS339 with a 2.8 torque and weight of 70 grams. I have an inside to outside swing pattern and at times dead pull my drives. Would switching to a higher torque shaft allow me to swing easier or harder and not pull the ball. My swing speed for the driver is in the 95 mph range. I average just under 250 yds on my drive. What would be the correct torque for a 90 - 95 swing speed. Feedback appreciated Ted

I am interested in buying a laser rangefinder for this coming year of golf. I have never used one nor do I know anyone who has. I have a few questions and wanted to put it out for discussion on this forum. I have my eye on the bushnell - pro pinseeker w/slope with the heafty price of $449.00. The reason for the model with the slope is I play hilly courses up here in new england. If anyone has used a rangefinder w/slope or without, I am asking for the pro's and con's on this type of equipment from users. I play at a 7 handicap. thanks... Ted

Looking for feedback on the SMT 455cc driver. I am looking to build a new long drive driver this fall and was interested in the SMT components. I am looking to use the Accuflex VS339 shaft. If anyone has used this driver I would apppreciate your input as it pertains to driving distance. It has been noted the SMT 455 component head has done quite well on the long drive challenge circuit.
