Thanks for the replies. I went by Golfsmith earlier and was able to snag a single Burner 2.0 (the attendant there said it's the most forgiving he had in a single) but while I was there I took a liking to the Ping G15's. The attendant there said both are very comparable as to forgiveness, is that true?

Hi all. I just made my first ever trip to the driving range yesterday for my first golf lesson and I think it's safe to say it feels like love at first sight to me. Anyway my instructor had me hit a ton of balls with an 8 iron which had been handed down to me by a veteran golfer friend of mine. While I did hit a few good shots I was pretty bad overall which I guess is to be expected. Today I was looking to treat myself and since I'll be using the 8 iron for at least 3-4 more trips to the range I'd like to go out today and pick up the most forgiving 8 iron I can find here locally for use tonight and this weekend. Looking forward to the recommendations, thanks!
