  1. Depending on what you want for feel (soft, medium, firm), Winn has what you need. I've been playing them for years now and love them. Been playing the G8, V-17 for a while now and love them.
  2. IMHO, since you stated one of the reasons for not playing much is financial - I would save the money on new irons and use it for playing more. It will be more fun for you being on the course hitting your existing clubs than being at home staring at your new set - and better for your game. Best of luck to you! For what it's worth, I recently hit and like the 57's.
  3. I bought a Callaway FT-5 this past summer and love it. I had a Titleist 983K before. I now carry the ball as far as I used to hit it (including roll). It's also much more forgiving, but let's be honest about this - it's several years newer and is much larger at 460cc while the Titleist was around 380cc (I think).
  4. I use a Ping G5i Anser and love it.
  5. I like having 4 wedges in the bag. I am long with my irons, so having 4 wedges in the bag helps with keeping a good distance gap while using a full swing. This is where you score. pw - lob = 47, 52, 56, 60 good luck!
  6. Currently have Dimension Z, Z2 irons in the bag. I've been happy with them, but they're a few years old and I'm thinking strongly about new irons this spring. On the list to try are: Mizuno (mp57, mx25) Callaway (x20, x20 tour, xforged) Ping (i10, g10) I've been reading some of the other threads trying to find out what people like/dislike about what they have.
