    Birdies?

I agree it's way easier for me to birdie a par 5 as opposed to a par 3. Par 3's are where I hit most of my bogies.
  2. I have taken a couple of lessons with little to no improvement. Also just invested $400 in the Taylormade R11s driver about a month ago. I have all the settings closed. I'm at a complete loss!
  3. I usually shot in the low 90's, but Saturday I shot a 110 and Sunday shot a 105 with a 59 on the front nine. Maybe I am just trying too hard. When I approach the ball I have so many things going through my head instead of just getting up there and hitting the damn ball. I definitely have gotten worse over the past month. Not really sure what to do.
  4. Yesterday is the closest I've come to driving cart, clubs and all into the pond. The thing is I can do pretty well on my second shots but my driver is absolutly out of control!!! I can hit my driver about 290 yds but I'm usually WAY LEFT( I'm lefty) its more of a push- slice. I play 4 to 5 times a week and don't seem to be getting any better. On top of that I just sank a ton of money into upgrading my clubs this season. I'm frustrated and don't even look forward to going to the golf course anymore. Any tips, drills, etc. would be greatly appericated.
  5. Which grip is better the interlock or the ten finger grip? I used the interlock grip for a long time but had to change to a ten finger. A couple of months back I was playing in a two day tourney and after the first day my left pinky was really sore and swollen( I'm a lefty BTW). The interlock feels better but makes my pinky sore. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Or should I just learn to play with the ten finger grip?

    Lefty tips??

I've been playing for years, but just decided to get serious about the game this year(I'm 33). I've taken a couple of lessons to work the slice out of my drive and it has helped a little bit. I've also upgraded my equipment which has shown some improvement. I can drive the ball a long way, but have very little predictability to where it's going to go. I spend a lot of time playing and even more time at the range. Are there any tips that other lefty's have to improve the control of the ball off the tee? Any help would be appericated.
  7. You should've bough the R11s if you wanted more adjustability. I got mine about a month ago and LOVE it! I hit the ball a lot straighter and farther than my old driver. So far I've shaved about 4 strokes off my game.
