  2. Looking forward to it! -And thanks for all the replies. They have a larger inventory of the RAZR on the preowned site now, will have to make my decision soon.
  3. But what about the Bounce? How important is it? And does a beginner want it high or low?
  4. Hi All, New to the forum and new to golf -just started a 14wk Instructional Golf League, very excited! I have an old set of Tommy Armour 845u, and am looking to upgrade by buying a set off of http://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/ I was set on getting the Diablo Edge Irons as they are well rated and reviewed in the Super Forgiveness category by golf.com and golfdigest. The only thing I didn't love was the look of them -but feel that "confidence" aside, the looks probably aren't as important as the rest. The website has now added the Razr X HL irons to the site, and being new they are a couple hundred more -but still a great deal compared to retail. I also like the new look a lot more. So I started looking into other differences between the two. Callaway no longer makes the Diablo Edge irons, but now pushes the RAZR X HL as the choice for Super Forgiveness. They clubs appear to be identical, club for club, as far as length, weight and lie, and have the same Callaway selling features. http://www.callawaygolf.com/global/en-us/golf-equipment/golf-clubs/irons/razr-x-hl-irons.html http://www.callawaygolf.com/global/en-us/golf-equipment/classic-golf-equipment/diablo-edge-irons.html The only glaring difference that I could see, was that the Diablo Edge irons have a low bounce angle, and the RAZR X HL irons have a high bounce angle of more than double in some cases. Any thoughts on why Callaway's old forgiveness irons (2010/2011 Hotlist) have a low bounce and their new forgiveness irons (2012 Hotlist) have a high bounce? Which is more desirable for a beginner? I couldn't find anything from Callaway that explained the change in design. -And now I'm worried about getting the wrong set for my needs. SIDENOTE: Anybody else feel bad for Furyk yesterday? That was hard to watch.
