  1. I like heavier shaft weight because it's easier for me to swing consistently. I've been playing 75 stock shafts in my 3 and 5 woods, but want a little more. My driver is about 70 grams and I was wandering if I should go 85 or 95 in the fairways. P.S. I also cut my fairways down 1/2 and inch, is there a way a club builder could bring the swing weight up to my spec without lead tape?
  2. They make it. Look at UST's website.
  3. Been looking all over for a place to buy UST Maymia axivcore tour green woods in 85 grams. Anyone know any retailers online?
  4. I fit perfectly into standard lie. I come from the inside, hard.
  5. Would the project x, cut down some of my draw from being less spin?
  6. Just looked and the c taper stiff is 10 grams lighter than the dg.
  7. btw it was a 103g blue board. I thought it was steel too.
  8. I've hit 6.0 in ap2 before. Something about my blades with x100 is longer than anything I've ever hit. I always assumed it was the shaft.
  9. The only worry about project x I have is, from being a lighter weight, I'll lose distance compared to the x100. I feel like the heft is part of the reason I get amazing distance.
  10. So I've been swinging x100s for the last 3 years in my irons, (been playing golf for 4). I bought the x100s on a hunch and they've worked great! Best part about them is the tight dispersion! I'm looking to pick up some new sticks and was thinking about changing to project x 6.0 because the x100 may be too stiff for me as I have a 105ss with a driver, but they work. s300 is too lose I think. I lose shots left and they're noticeably higher launching than the x100s for me. Should I stick with the x100s or try the px 6.0?
  11. I'd really like to know the stiffness profile of both the stiff and x. Know where I can find the info?
  12. Anyone hit this shaft? I have a 105 ss and like a heavier weight. I would normally play a heavy stiff shaft but this only comes in 65 which I think is too light. How's the 80x going to play? Would I be able to handle it with my ss?
  13. I fight a hook with all my clubs. My swing speed is 102.
  14. Does anyone use stiffer shafts purposely to keep from over drawing the ball?
  15. Actually, I solved it today during a tournament. I was playing the ball too far forward in my stance, (equal to or even a little outside my front) and dipping my right shoulder as I came into the ball. When I moved it back and leveled out my shoulder turn i was hitting mid launch tee shots that would actually roll for a change.
