  1. My wife grabbed me a couple of sleeves of the "blues" and I got 18 in with them last weekend. I have to say I was impressed. I'd say they're VERY similar in performance and feel to most of the other midrange 3 piece balls out there, i.e. Titleist NXT Tours. Topflite Gamers, which have been my preferred balls for the last 3 years, I also found very similar though the Gamers felt just a touch softer. The Nicklaus balls are manufactured by Bridgestone. Could this be a rebadged Bridgestone E6?
  2. I gotta box of these and didn't know what to expect but, I lIke 'em! I've only played two rounds with them and it seems like a good ball, spin around the greens, nice feel, long off the other clubs. To me it's a question of where they put the price point. For 15 to 20 bux a box, I've stayed with the Topflite Gamers. If the Titleist "Test" ball ends up in NXT TOUR OR PROV1 price territory.....I'll still stick with the Gamers. Truth is, I've been around the block many times with other balls and I always end up full circle...back to the Gamer.:-)
  3. I've written several reviews on this topic on several different sites. I'm stuck on the Gamer V2, have been for a couple of years. I was a loyal Nxt tour user for quite some time. Test reports have shown that these two balls have almost identical characteristics in all respects. Me personally? I like the feel of the Gamer off the clubface and the putter. And shot for shot, I think I get a little more grab on the greens with the Gamer. You can really feel the ball compressing off the clubface with that satisfying little "thunk". Instead of the usual "click". I like 'em and for only 19.99 a carton, there is no other ball to use. jc.
