  2. My friend got Cleveland 588 wedges, and I'm looking at getting some, but after about a week he noticed little brown spots on the face of the club. Is this rust? Has this happened to anyone else?
  3. I'm looking at getting the Cleveland Classic driver. I hit it at the PGA superstore and thought it felt great, but I'm still not hooked on it what do you guys think about that driver.
  4. Ha thanks guys, I didn't realize this, I assumed that if it was just a pick up game then it doesn't matter, but I will definitely remember then next time my friends want to place a bet.
  5. My friends and I usually place bets such as a soda, candy bar, or sometimes a sleeve of golf balls. They were telling me if we get caught betting then we wouldn't be able to play high school golf even if we were playing on our own time just for fun. Can anyone tell me the rules about betting and the rules of high school golf about betting?
  6. The next irons I'm getting are going to be Wilson Staff Ci11's. They are for a mid handicap player. They are extremely under rated.
  7. Does a lower swing speed hit a low compression golf ball farther and with added spin on wedge shots?
  8. I'm getting new wedges and I can't decide whether to get a 46*, 52*, and a 56*. Or a 46*, 52*, and a 58*. Tell me what you think.
  9. Sweet! I've done this before but it was where I do it for nine holes and has to finish even but when I 2 putted I would get angry and quit ha, but this sounds like a better format.
  10. I just looked up these wedges and can't find the price or where to buy them
  11. Ha that does sound fun and challenging!
  12. Does anybody know how long they will sell the Vokey SM2 ( non conforming model )
  13. Ha ha, definitely, I guess I was looking for a drill that would keep me interested because I feel like I'm not getting a lot out just chipping two balls and seeing how close I could get it.
  14. Titleist Vokey's or Cleveland 588 wedges?
  15. I want fairways, GIR's, putts, up and down, and penalties
  16. I'm starting to walk the course more and more, so that I can prepare easier for high school golf, and I'm looking at getting a scorecard holder. But I want one that holds a stat keeper, so I can also keep my stats. Does anyone have some suggestions?
  17. Wow! I went out today and beat my friend for the first time, by two strokes. Simply, because I was able to get up and down much better. Thanks again!
  18. Thanks, I will definitely try these tips, because at this point I'm willing to try anything, but these drills sound great!
  19. Does anyone have any good chipping drills. Because I have a terrible up and down percentage because of poor chips. I'm looking for a drill that will keep me interested, since just going to the putting green with two balls and chipping gets boring especially in the heat. Thanks.
  20. Whenever I go to the putting green,I always use two knitting needles and string. What you do, is tie the string to the needles and place one behind the hole and one behind where you are putting, so that the sting is lined up over the ball. Then you putt trusting the string. (you might have to adjust the string for alignment). But this drill really helps with trusting the roll, getting to know the speed, consistency with putts, and it helps me stand over the ball. This is a drill Luke Donald, no. 1 player, and Aaron Baddely, best putter on tour uses.
  21. Yeah. That would definitely be my second choice, I feel like the satin finish is kinda plain. Also, it's nice to know it doesn't fade.
  22. Hey guys, I was wondering which finish I choose for the Cleveland 588 wedges. I really like the black pearl finish, but I don't know if it will fade away after practicing in the sand? Could you please help me out, and tell me your opinions.
