  1. I've been working on shortening my swing with my irons, and so far I've been hitting it alot straighter. I had a pretty good sized draw/hook that I used to have to play for. My usual miss though is a push. Because of my fast swing I rely alot on feel and timing. But that leads to massive inconsistency on bad days. Do you know any ways that i can take some of that timing out so I can be a little more consistent?
  2. TP/Red/LDP or TP/Black/LDP Srixon balls are cheaper too. If your looking for a lower level but still semi-performance ball, I can only think of the NXT tour, Or Burner TP LDP
  3. The first major thing I noticed was the massive pick-up with the hands. Your artificially putting it online by raising your hands to where you think your plane should be. Try to use your shoulders to sweep your club low to the ground and almost straight back. This will automatically put you in the right plane on your backswing. You also seem to start your downswing with your hands first. Rotate your hips first and feel like your arms drop in after. Hope this helps =)
  4. Haha. I do those too. Its only my lower body thats weak.
  5. Gettin' nailed on my slacks haha. I do have some other video's on this computer that I'm trying to find. And I think I'm hitting an 8-iron in it. Also thank you for examining my swing. I think what you said about the left leg might really help. I'm gonna be playing today so I'll try it out on the range for a bit.
  6. I work out quite a bit. Its mainly just week legs. My arms are very strong and so are my abs and back. But my legs have very little muscle. I can do 20 pull-ups and i do around 200-300 situps a night. And i weigh 150
  7. Thank you. Yea. I swing it pretty hard. And my legs aren't super strong so its hard for me to control my weight shift. But, the camera mighta got the best of me on this one. haha Now my last teacher made me start dropping that right shoulder so that I would keep the face open longer before impact, and so I wouldn't come over the top and hit a low duck hook. Do you know any drills that'd help me keep my weight going through, while not making me hook it? Thank you all for the comments and tips =)
  8. Actually pretty much all of what you said was perfect. I do struggle with taking it inside. So if you noticed it, it was probably there. And I do struggle with keeping my swing short. Only my driver gets past every now and then. My usual miss is a push or hook.
  9. any helps or comments are greatly appreciated =)
  10. Thanks for the info. I just bought an r9 Tour Issued 3 wood on ebay and it had this shaft in it so I was wondering if anyone knew about it. Thanks for the article link.
  11. Does anyone have info on the new Aldila RIP Shaft? I want it for my three wood and was wondering if anyone knew what kind of ball flight it produced. If anyone has any kind of inside info on it please tell me. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  12. What is your typical ball flight? It looks like you flip your wrists fairly hard and might battle with a hook.
  13. Have you seen the Ping Doc? Looks like half a flying saucer.
  14. What about the Ping Doc? That thing is the size of like half a Pizza.
  15. I myself also hit a draw, but I don't try and do it with my right hand, that could lead to you flipping the club after impact and producing a massive hook/pull. If you want a good Draw, take it straight back and feel like your hands drop inside and accelerate through impact, swinging out to right field. if your a righty. This will impart left spin on the ball and after practice it will be alot more consistent. I used to flip with my right hand to get that draw but it leads to massive hooks when your swing is off. I recommend just trying this way.
