  1. Thanks so much for the insight. There is someone selling them on ebay for a little less than what you paid so I thought it might be a good deal. I wish I could find some place close to me that sells the club so I could see what the feel like when I hold them. I may just pull the trigger and purchase them as they would be a big step up from my current clubs. In any case, thanks again for posting a response.
  2. Just wanted to hear your thoughts about the Wilson ci7 clubs. I don't get to play much - maybe 10 times a year. Right now I have Tommy Armour Clubs and looking to get some new clubs without spending a lot of money. I shoot in the mid 90's. Thanks for any advice on the ci7 clubs or any other recommendations.
  3. Hi, I'm back. Thanks to all that helped me out previosuly. As I've said before, I currently have a set of Tommy Armour 845 FS Silverscot irons. I only play 3 or 4 times per year and shoot in the mid 90's. I was on globalgolf.com and was looking up irons and came across the Taylor Made SuperSteels. The reviews said that they're good irons and pretty forgiving and a really good set of the newbie. Since I doubt I'll ever get out more than 4 times a year, I consider myself a newbie and will probably always will be unless I can get out more. Since I'm on a budget and don't play very oftern, I was wondering if you thought it would be worth it to buy these clubs or not compaired to what I have. Should I go for the TMade or stick with the Tommy's? Any other suggestions? Any advice, greatly appreciated.
  4. I pretty much went with the exact same club except mine was the TM R7 as well - but not the draw version. Everything else is the same. Thanks to everyone for all of their feedback. With all the different clubs out there is tough to make an informed decision without the knowledge of all you out there..
  5. ski, what loft, shaft type did you go with?
  6. ok.. thanks for the advice.. found this.. what do you guys think? http://www.globalgolf.com/product/go...d=1001174&gd;=3 i would probably go with the 10.5 and a regular flex.
  7. ok.. thanks for the advice..
  8. sorry looking for new driver as well.. guess i should just follow the same advice? any feedback on the Maxfli Powermax 460cc Driver. i saw it on sale for 79.99 but when i tried searching for it on the net, i couldn't find any reviews/info
  9. i only play 3-4 times at most per year. i normally shoot in the mid-90's. my clubs are pretty old. my irons are Tommy Armour 845 FS Silverscot and my woods are a mismatch of hand me downs.. i've seen 5 woods bigger than my current driver. my father in law has a TM R7 and when i hit it right, i can probably hit it 250... with my driver i can barely hit 200.. since i don't play much and don't want to spend a lot of money $100-150, can anyone help me out too.. just thought i'd add on to this thread instead of adding another... don't mean to take over.. any feedback will be greatly appreciated.. thanks again.
