So my experience with my new new blade irons
XxGorillaxX replied to XxGorillaxX's topic in Golf Talk
You know I wanted the AP2's, but considering these irons were free I might as well take advantage of it.. I also have KZG ZO Blades but those have X100 shafts, man those shafts are pretty harsh. 3-pw.. 3iron is ridiculous -_- -
So my experience with my new new blade irons

yeah dude .. trust me, I walked by and saw his bag, all 913 drive/woods and MB 714. Real cool guy, he saw my AP1 and said well only good ball strikers can hit these, I told him I am a great one actually, .. he told me to hit his 6iron and he agreed immediately when I hit the 170 stick 5x .. we hit it off, cool guy and apparently always buys new titliest clubs, owns his own business and does real well for himself, real nice guy... obviously, I have a titliest staff bag and 714 MB irons, I'll post pics of my bag. looking to upgrade my old ass Maxfly wedges to those 'cold forge' ones they have... not sure why cold forge is any good? hard to change wedges when I learned to hit them so good but dude, there so beat to crap I need them. whats weird though .. the lofts are SOOOO much weaker but yet, I hit them so high and I gained distance.. is that normal?? I hit the AP1s high but I had regular shafts (long story how that happened) .. I have the KBS Tour Stiff now. Man I love them! -
So I befriended a guy on the range a couple months ago, had a titliest staff bag, 714 MB 6-pw ..3-5 CB 714. Mentioned he'd give them all to me and the bag when he gets his new equipment.. Hes got some $.. Long story short, im an 8hcp, had 712AP1 5-pw and was looking for more workability and precise yardage. First round today using them. --Success, irons are the strongest part of my game and now I feel more lethal once I hones my new distances in. Titliest 714 MBs are remarkable, obvi you have to be good with irons but there forgiving enough, as in if your fundamentals are thorough. My experience and thought I'd share, 3-4 iron are tough considering I used hybrids but excited to practice and find their place in mt game. Anyone else find success to switching to blade irons?

Hey everybody. I currently have 712 AP1 Irons 5-PW (regular shaft) .. Also, KZG ZO Blades 3-PW (x300 shafts) I hit both very well. 8 handicap. Don't ask but sometimes I swing lazy with AP1 than the Blades.. stupid. I know. Anyhow. I am 'need' stiff shaft, weird I ended up with extreme on both ends. I swing between 105-109mph with driver. I have a 910 Titliest Driver, Fujikura ProSpeedr 60 Stiff Shaft (love it) Should I sell both sets, get my Titliest 714 AP2s or CB's with stiffs...or Mizunos MP59 with stiff... Change the shafts on the Blades to stiff shafts??? .... I wouldnt mind getting rid of the clunky head of the AP1.. then again im not silly and i do love forgiveness. I dont know.. you guys are my last resort for some sound advice, alot of you have great opinions... Thanks for your time and response

I think 910 uses the .335? .. how hard is it to swap adapters if need be? Ebay has the adapters for like 15$-20$

Hey guys, So I wanted to buy a new shaft for my driver. I won the Fujikura Tour Pro 63 for my Titliest 910 .. Problem.. the tip is for a 913! .. Advice? Opinions? ......

To Golfers Who Score in the 70s - What's Your Story?
XxGorillaxX replied to gr8golf's topic in Golf Talk
I've been playing serious for about 3-4yrs, I learned the short game and decent putting was the secret code to shooting low. Getting a sweet string of pars will keep your confidence up. I first shot a 78 when I broke 80, my friends didnt tell me if I par the last two holes i'd get a 78, low and behold I did just that infact missed a short birdie on a par 5 18 and shot 78, i remember it and cherish it like yesterday. Ended up shooting my next 4 rounds in the 70's cause I felt like I saw the blueprint. Now I level out about high 70's nd low 80's. practice...practice...but not blind practice...learn and understand each...EACH...swing. ball contact.. so important...a good solid dependable drive will make it easier to achieve. most of all.. be dedicated. -
I'm new. I have KZG ZO blades.. and I want some advice

Swing speed with 6iron was right around 80? if I remember my last visit to Golfsmith, with the Driver was high 90's-100. The X100 my instructor mentioned is a rare shaft, he said its customed and special ordered. I wouldnt really know. They just happen to be on the clubs which i dont mind cause sometimes stiff can be more control but it can also prevent the shaft from closing the face...more or less depending on the swing. -
Yoooooooooooooo! whats up guys, so after creeping this site for over a year i feel like id like to participate in some of the talk, i personally feel this is one of the better golf forums, i do alot of searching through old threads and so much awesome info, honestly. So I have AP1 712, 5-PW, midsize grip, standard lofts, bent to my needs.. I used to suck, and now im an 8 handicap in a few short years, and ALLLOOOOOOOT of dedication, now all my friends think i have some secret but.. golf is only earned, i started with some wilsons 200$ set, got to around mid 80s and wanted to take my achievements to the next level which is why i upgraded. scotty cameron 1.5 newport putter for those who care... which i love. however, i bought a set 3-pw of zo kzg blades, i love them to.. its a love triangle between my irons. ive not played with the zo on the course but i practice with them, however, now that im so much better i hate the look of my ap1's .. ap2s are so expensive, i got the blades for 200$ on ebay in AWESOME mint condition. im a great ball striker so even a mishit is still in proximity of shots, i was reading an old thread about the 'blade haters', the distance control is bar none. my question.. i have this X100 shaft on my KZGs, not bad, but i had R300 on my AP1s, has anyone switched iron shafts? is it worth it? not alot of info out there about ppl doing so. Wondering if my trajectory or ball flight would be bad or not? .. why do it right? well i dont swing that damn fast but fast enough, and curious to know what i would face.. i seek the communities input! i recently went through some lessons to help with my alignment and my instructor said im good enough to play anything and its what im comfortable with...idk why but as of late, im hitting my blades better than ap1's, too damn bulky and not as confident as my blades. so im looking to switch, i already know and im experienced enough before you guys say 'not forgiving', i dont hit that bad of a mishit to worry, trust me. hit the sweet spot on an SGI and it goes 10-15 yards further, thats bullshit to me personally. anyhow, you guys rock, well most lol some dudes are too opinionated nd think their right no matter but thats why its a forum! thanks guys. btw, my buddy had an old set of KZG and i used to hit his muscleback type blade and i loooved the look so that tempted me to get the zo blade...in case someone wondered as to why i went with it.

first of all, thanks for replying. second, I agree with you .. it is too much around the body right?.. I dont realize it .. but after this I see it, sometimes Its high and pretty... sometimes it's almost 'thin' and its low.. any advice or ..

Hey everyone, Went to get my typical 1-2 months lesson, I worked with this pro at my local golf range and he seems to be helping an ok, changed my grip from strong to neutral and thus I do fade a little bit more which he mentions.. It's the best of video I have for now.. Check it out and let me know what you think. http://www.smarterlessons.com/prod/pub/history.php?videoid_br=4866122#tabs-pane-0 I think I go around my body too much for a 3 wood and I should come a little higher when I bring it back? I think I bring my hands down first in the downswing which isn't good either.. None the less.. I average 220yards with the X Hot 3 Wood... mind you, that thing is ridiculously good for whomever decides to get it. I will get the driver when my funds allow ;p Thanks.
