  1. You're right, I should give that Callaway a kick around too. Ping . . . . I love my I3's but have never loved the woods. Trackman or Flightscope : good to know. Where in Newport Beach is your photo? Looks like Monarch? I was in Laguna just last week for work, played Strawberry, Arroyo, Talega and Tajeras. Couldn't get on at Monarch tho...!
  2. Yeah, excellent points on fitting. I need to get that done properly. I've seen a similar post just created today on who to go to but didn't see much on the way of solid advice. I can always go to a golf galaxy/golfsmith but I don't know how reliable they are. I'll have to follow that thread a little closer. Shaft is key and I'm totally leaving that out too... thx.
  3. Theoretically your lob wedge could be an add around the greens if you find yourself in Phil'esque situations. I miss having a lob and find the bounce on my 56 too high for situations where I need to flop on tight grass. What's the bounce on your 56? If it is high, perhaps a low bounce 60 would be a good add...
  4. Ok so I have excess $ to spend (for once), and I've never actually purchased a new driver! Currently I'm rocking the TM R510, so I assume there is plenty of room for improvement... I've got my personal preferences narrowed down to Titleist or TM. I'd like to pick up either a 910/913 or R11/R1... I have seen a few 910s out there for $350 but I don't expect the price to drop significantly per the brand standards. Does anyone think they will lower the price on the R11s with the release of the R1? Wondering if the step up to 2013 models (R1/913) is significant in most opinions...? As soon as my club has a demo day I will try before buying of course, but I feel like an R11 new for $200-250 would be a great deal. Either that or I shell out $400 for a new baby. Thoughts? - Rock Chalk
