This is my first post here..
I got my golf shop to build a 975d 8.5 UNDERLINE with an X100 (no tipping) at 43.5". and a white lampkin grip.. It swingweighted at D9. The club builder says its so bad that he wants to pull it out
I read online that Tiger used to swing a 975d w/ X100 tipped 1" at D3 swingweight. How is there such a huge difference in swingweight?? Anyone try anything like this? Any comments on resulting weights... I wanted to do this to get a heavier feeling club. I also have a 9.5 razr hawk with stock stiff shaft that feels way too light to me.
