  1. Hey guys, I'm just starting to play golf and am deciding which clubs to get. I'm a 5'9" 160 lb girl with a softball background and a good bit of strength. I have only been to a range once but I was hitting a men's regular 9 iron 135 yards with a high right to left ball flight. I'm wondering two things: (1) What flex should I get? The men's flex seemed pretty good for me and I can swing it pretty hard. (2) While trying to save money and still gauge my interest in the game, what club purchase do you think would be best? I saw a full set of clubs (regular, men's graphite shafts) at a local used sports store for $70, and I also know that there are full sets at Dick's and Wal-Mart for about $100. As these will be my first set of clubs, I am unsure of how much I should spend. I would like to learn on decent clubs that will last me a while until I need to upgrade to play well, but I would like them to be cheap enough that I wont go broke. Thoughts? Opinions?
