  1. According to my GameGolf my last 17 drives range from 179 to 262 with an average of 222 yrds with the latter ones being after I changed shafts. I am sticking with the R1.
  2. I originally had a S Flex in my R1 and had to change to a R Flex because I could not get the face closed and I hit every shot to the right. Since changing I am hitting it straight and hitting around 70% fairways.
  3. Thanks for all the replies. I hit the Callaway V 10.5 degree yesterday side-by-side with my Taylormade R1 set at 11 degrees. I hit my R1 straighter and longer and had a 14.9 degree launch angle with around 1800 rpm spin. So I think I will just stick with it. I was averaging 230 yds with either a straight down the middle or a very slight (5 yrd) fade to the right shot shape. I only have an 88 mph swing speed.
  4. Sort of. It originally had a Sflex shaft and I was hitting everything to the right so I went to my local golf store (Addicted to Golf Va Beach) and because of my swing speed they put a Rflex shaft in it. I am hitting it much straighter now. I was just looking to try to get some more distance.
  5. I currently have the Taylormade R1 R flex/length shaft standard grip and I recently picked up the Taylormade Aeroburner 3 wood and I like it. I am look for opinions on the Aeroburner driver. Would it be worth it to get it or is the R1 better? I usually hit the R1 about 240 yds. Thanks for your help.
  6. Thanks for all the input. Just went yesterday and had a complete fitting. Went with the Cobra Baffler Hybrid set of irons. I hit their 7 longer than the Muzino 6. The irons felt real nice and also fit my budget. The fitting showed that I need a .75" longer shaft.
  7. Yes, I had a lesson with a local Pro to help me straghten out my slice. He help me quite a bit on that. He told me that I was raising up on some of my shots and that if I was serious about getting back in to it, I could get fitted for some irons and that would probable help alot.
  8. I am just getting back in to golf and I bought a standard length set of clubs. I am noticing that I "top" quite a few of my iron shots. I measured from my wrist to the floor and came up with 36.5" and I am 6,0" tall. The chart says that I need a +.25" length club. My question is how much will that .25" affect my ball striking?
