Hello, visiting in laws in Warren Rhode Island. Brother in law has an old set of clubs I can use. Do you know of any reasonable public courses where I can kill some time? I'm a 20+ handicap. Thanks! Zac

I've been playing just a few months.. My instructor suggested moving golf shoes up on my priority list because not only do the soles prevent slipping, but the heel cup is larger. One of the (many) problems with my swing was that, in running shoes, my right heel was rolling over in my backswing. The golf shoes helped to correct that. I chose some FootJoys that were on clearance for $40 at the course pro shop.

Hello everyone. A quick note to say hi, and thanks to all who maintain and contribute to this site. I've learned much just lurking. I've been playing for about 3 months, had a few lessons, and am enjoying the heck out if the game. "fish on" as they say.
