  6. Sounds like excellent advice, I'll work on that next time at the indoor range. It's about 10f outside so outdoors isn't really an option.
  7. I see the sway it's obvious now that you pointed it out, the casting , yes it might be some of that left, the release yeah i'll work on it but it might prove difficult my right vrist is almost stiff due to an old injury.
  8. thanks, Sounds about right, I'll look in to that. Distance isn't really an issue though.

  12. I've been Playing Golf for: about a year My current handicap index or average score is:hcp 9 My typical ball flight is: slight fade The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: [rule] Videos:
  13. The last time I tested my 6 iron swing speed I recorded 94mph (low) and 97mph (high) average distance was 196yards. Don't know how that stacks up but hitting the long ball has never been my problem. I need to focus on putting and chipping. ;)

    A future in Golf?

Thanks That is good advice. Unfortunately we don't have a golf program at the university, but I'll look into the situation on the courses in the area where I live. Regarding being in the honeymoon phase, well you might be right, so it might be best to take it slow I guess. But thanks again :)
  15. Okay, this is the case. I'm 42 and have played golf for one season, in this season I've gotten down to a 9 hcp. I've been offered a great settlement from my employer and I'm thinking that maybe i should start a new career in golf. I'm not sure what direction to go though, club pro? (I've been a university teacher for eleven years) club maker, player... well Any Ideas folks? /A
