  1. I've been Playing Golf for: 1 year My current handicap index or average score is: 86 My typical ball flight is: straight or slight draw The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: hook Videos: I am obviously releasing early. I have been trying to not think about hitting and just turn, but I am still not able to get a better angle. I know that I don't want to forcefully hold a lag angle and it should be natural. Any comments would be much appreciated!
  2. If I was to use one of the above, which would you prefer? Steel wool, scotchbrite pad, or sandpaper (if so, what grit). I like the brushed look and it would take away the scratches pretty well.
  3. I don't have a dremel tool, but could I use a scotch brite pad or steel wool?
  4. Yah, I was planning on just taking the scratches away and making it look decent again.
  5. It actually isn't my club. Someone gave it to me and I use it to experiment on.
  6. I have a Cleveland reg. 588 tour action wedge, and was looking to take out all the scratches and dings to make it look nice again. It is an old club, so willing to try anything on it. Now I know that many of you are going to say that it is a wedge and it is supposed to be all beaten up or whatever, but I want to make it look good. Before you make any judgement of my paint fill, it was my first time and I was trying to learn how to do it. I want to just take all the paint out and start over with it for a fun project.
  7. I worked on the knee flex a bit, so I look a bit more centered. Not yet worked on my impact, but what is your thoughts about my knees?
  8. I've been Playing Golf for: 7 months My current handicap index or average score is: 94 My typical ball flight is: High Fade The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: I thin and top the ball a lot. Videos: My second swing made better contact. I am trying to get a better lag position. As you can tell I release very early. Also I am 15 years old.
  9. I am 15 years old and I played for my school team around 6 months ago. I shot 121 in my first tournament and 118 in my second. I practice almost 4 times a week and have read many books on golf. I now consistently shoot mid to low 90s every time I play. I am trying to work on the fundamentals of Ben Hogan's swing. It is much more consistent than the modern swing today and recommend a swing change for anyone starting out or just has a bad swing. The only thing I recommend is record yourself so you can really see what you are doing wrong and practice with a purpose.
