  1. Hello, I went to the fitter recently. I have requested him to put the ahina with the sdlr adapter tip. The ahina is . 355 and the adapter sleeve is .355. I watched him doing my driver shaft installation. He put a shim on the shaft tip and then put into the adapter. I have asked him why and he says it's fine especially there's no ferrule installed as well. I thought shaft with . 355 tip with a . 355 would require no shim. I am pretty confused. Thanks
  2. If the driver shaft that is cut from the butt to be inserted in fairway wood has the same strength?
  3. so basically the shaft weight becomes heavier and stronger ranging from a driver to fairway woods? even tipping as well too? do stronger stiffer shaft are less prone to crack/snap/weaken?
  4. isnt the reverse k already have some axis tilt on my shoulders which would be hitting up the ball? maybe the mistake was i had excessive axis tilt during the downswing. I know a 14 or more is crazy because i am not good with my irons. is the driver shaft is basically made for the driver and fairway woods or the weight should be different? < stupid question...
  5. yeah haha my stance has more of a reverse k when i swing in control i am fine. Just something else threw off my mechanics, maybe i just forgot to clear my hips or something. I never hit downwards as in more of an extreme out to in. Its more like upwards in to out path and my club head caught in the wrong bottom before the ball haha.
  6. Haha but honestly when i did, it looks like a big one that comes to my paranoid level to ask questions about it. When i hover the driver above the grass, that was ok.
  7. I had a look at the shaft under the light and the sunlight too. I inspected every single area of the shaft. it seems smooth to touch and i dont know about the internal one. do cracks appear on the internal wall?
  8. Hello, Recently i played at the golf course, i have the motore speeder tour spec 7.2 X paired with the sldr 430 9 deg and it was a bomb. I just recently purchased that shaft. Once at the tee box, i was gonna hit up the driver, i swung so hard and i fell back. Cos i wanna hit damn far. The club head hit the ground and made a divot. It wasnt downward strike. It was a upward strike at a wrong bottom before the ball. Then i topped the ball. For the second time, at the driving range after the golf course. I went to practice my clubs until the driver. I was getting great drives then until one drive i whacked so fast then i fell back as in lost control, it hit the mat and skimmed. I saw metalic flashes under the driver head. Same story as very upward strike. It has been done twice and i hope not to do it again in the future. I am worried about the shaft, Will it break or snap? I do not want to spend more money for a new shaft again. Thankssss
  9. Hello, I have a question about those shafts. My ball speed is somewhere from 155-167mph with a driver. I am interested in the motore speeder evolution tour spec and 7.2 tour spec. So far i have hit the 661 tour spec X flex and it kinds of feel soft yet superior in dispersion. I have not tried the 757 evolution tour spec yet nor the 7.2 tour spec. Is the 757 ts stiff is actually that really stiff like more stiffer than x flex? i would think the 757 is obviously stiffer than 661. is it true that 7.2 tour spec is stiffer than 757 ts? I am hunting for new shaft to replace my titleist 910 d3 driver. Thanks
  10. oh geez, arent the x tour game improvement irons? and you mean the true blade are muscle back ones? I can hit a blade like titliest ap2 because i like the feel and it goes further than cb which kind of a different feeling. I am trying to get the iron set working for me haha thanks
  11. thank you for your reply so that means either get the x tour reshafted or get the blades ones from any top manufacture like callaway etc If its gonna be re shafted, which one do you think its best for me either the kbs, project x or dg x100? Though i have heard kbs has its own problems of bending or snapping off the hosel. I have not hit the latest project x and the x100. I heard the nippon modus shaft was really good too. Thanks
  12. Hello, Yes it is Callaway x tour 2007 cavity back. and its forged too cos it says forged on the back of the hosel. The x forged is different one with the blade design. Here is my current iron set picture. A kind of a balloon but i cant really tell when its in straight line to target but it goes like really high. No matter what i tried to swing really fast and it still goes high. Thankks
  13. I have my old callaway x tour forged cavity back irons and i still use them. The shaft is ns pro 950 R Flex and whats funny is that i hit the 7 iron. The max is 150 yards. I tried other one srixon blade with a stiff+ kbs tour c taper shaft 7 iron at my lesson studio and i hit it 170 yards. Same swing and same speed. I dont get it. Is theres something wrong with the set i currently use? I tried the other shaft with fujikara multi composite the one thats mixed with steel and graphite R flex and it hit 170 yards too. I also tested the muira blade with kbs tour R flex and it also hit 170 yards. When i tried my callaway 7 iron over and over again, it still goes 150 yards. Thanks
  14. I used the flight scope x2. Though I remembered the smash factor is 1.45 with an out to inside and the ball dosent go that far. What do you mean by the grip for the short term fix? I am getting used to my new grip. The previous one was my thumb straight on line where my left hand seem to be flat. The pros have told me that I have out to inside. I spin my hips first then I hold my hands to swing through but sometimes my hip comes first in my mind while ignoring my arms hence the out to inside. You mean by hitting down the ball that cause negative angle of attack means I was using the wrong ball position?
  15. Haha I couldn't tell if that guy is insulting me. My swing speed is from 100-105mph though I can swing faster than 105 but I could lose focus on the ball. My tempo is quick. I have a habit to swing out to inside but I have stopped slicing recently. Hence the hook, pull hook. Thanks to my new found grip. The last time I checked the data, I tried a stiff shaft diamana whiteboard 70g with Nike vapor pro 8.5 deg loft and the spin was high around 3000-4000. That's the reason why my driving distance is 260 yards total. The launch is high but I can tell the ball is definitely spinning fast. When I tried to correct my swing path from inside to out and the spin goes down and distance was 286yards total. But then I have a habit of out to inside. Thanks. It would be great to advise me what shaft I should use.
