I played my first round a couple weeks ago but I did not put on the headcovers during the round. The clubs I took the headcovers off of were the driver and my 3-wood. It kept making a rattling noise because they were banging against each other. I examined the clubs at the end and there was no paint chips or dents.... I was lucky! I should probably start putting on headcovers during the round after I use a club.

I usually do not put the headcover back on my clubs until the round is over with when I'm taking a cart. The headcovers just go in the basket of my golf cart until the round is over. Then, they go back on.

@joekelly thank you! You gave me some peace in my mind. I was so worried because I love my clubs and didn't want them to be damaged because of wrong use by me.

I'm new to golf and started about four months ago. I'm getting better at not missing my driver shots or 3 wood shot and hitting the ground but I still do once in a while. Is it possible to break my club by doing this? An example was the other day at the driving range I messed up my 3 wood shot and hit the club directly into the ground. A couple weeks ago when I was playing a couple holes I also hit my driver on the ground because I was trying a different swing and messed up. Give me your thoughts on this and thanks!

@Rulesman I don't know of any rule that could be broken but I was just checking with you guys to make sure because I don't want to be that one person who everybody is staring at.

Hi, I was wondering where you can buy pin flags for players to autograph at a event. Do you get the pin flag at the event or online? Also, how much do pin flags generally cost? Thanks ahead of time!

Thanks for the answers any idea where the scratch came from?? I just took it out and noticed it was scratched today when I was cleaning my clubs this morning..

Puma golf shoes are amazing!!!!! It's also personal preference though. What brand makes golf shoes that have a style you like? Also read reviews from other people who bought the shoes on different websites. That's how I picked my golf shoes. I ended up getting Puma Biofusions on the Puma website that were like $30 off!! Great deal!!!!
