Ok, thanks for the input folks! I assume they're good enough clubs for a guy at my experience level. I'm just glad to have a complete set of irons now, gives me more confidence than playing with a hodgepodge of irons composed of a few different brand names.

Hey folks, So I'm pretty new to golf, well at least in regards to taking it seriously. After getting a new set of irons my dad gave me his old set and I'm trying to figure out if they're any good. I took them out to the driving range once and they seem to work fine but i'd like to know more about them. On the heads they say "scorcher MDD" tungsten weighted. The shafts are graphite and say "gallery". He bought them new at a golf store and they're still in great shape. I know these most likely aren't top of the line clubs by any means but just wondering if anyone can shed any light on these clubs for me as far as club and brand quality. I've done a web search but have found little to no info, even on the brand name in general. Any info would be well appreciated. Thanks!
