before first evolvr lesson after first evolvr lesson Stephan had me working on keeping head back and hip forward on downswing, I feel like a major improvement already when I practice in the backyard net but onto the range today... now I just came back from the range today and of course with swing changes there are some frustrations and pain in the change...I DO NOT have video of myself out on the range today but will try to provide...here is my point question. I am a notorious for overdoing swing instruction so I felt like today I may have been overshooting hip outward maybe even before my back swing was complete. 90% of my shots where blocks, had some cut blocks and a few shanks even. I love the practice and first lesson results and will continue working on it in my backyard net but I don't know where the ball is going or it's general direction I do know I'm coming a bit more from the inside which is great, but any advice?

I say you should why woukd a certain type of video/lesson not be allowed? Your the customer and their your cosches that should be helping improve in all facets of the game.

Makes sense. Thanks

If im doing two lessons a momth with two follow up videos to make sure im working on those points correctly if that is not correct or not wanted let me know now so i can request not to move forward

Thanks all for the feedback. I have a different mindset of how i want to work the program since im on the course weekly and on the range once a week as well as practicing from my home. If it doesnt work out for either party I guess we can always communicate that. Thanks again and am looking forward to serious and progressive results

also along those lines id be thinking it would be about 2 lessons a month with 2 video follow ups to make sure im doing it correct? I understand it may not be like that every month but if its a service that is being provided I would think this is the best way to optomize my investment and try to imrpvoe

how does the month work though is it calendar? or monthly from when you sign up?

finally signed up for evolvr...but had a small question in regards to my putting stroke. is/should the putting stroke be lower or closer to the ground? I'm not sure if it's the angle the camera recorded in (I had never recorded myself putting for birdie before but felt confident in the distance and line) but in the practice stroke it seems like my putter is higher off the ground than it should be? do i need more forward lean of the shaft of the putter keeping it a bit closer to the ground?

Hey all, just signed up for evolvr and just submitted my first swing. Kinda wish I would have waited till the beginning of the month (just easier for me to remember) but do the 4 videos a month run on calendar basis? I don't presume they do but thought i would ask. second question is for those that have been with the program a while and seen some serious results...has sending 4 videos a month been an issue for you? or is it after a while not really necessary to send in four videos a month? as a side note what really calls my attention to evolvr as supposed to the 4 lesson packages that I have done in the past is I don't mind sending in a video lesson (like Ive just done) and then using a second video lesson to see if what I have been taught or practiced through the provided or recommended drills if I am implementing it correctly. I know in theory and with the 4 package lesson instructors I have worked with before they told me they dont mind me sending in a video to their email to see if what I am working on from their instruction if I am translating correctly but it does not seem like I am being fair to them in doing so, and have not kept up with that practice. Thanks all and looking forward to the improvement!

Abu3aid thanks for taking ghe time to reapond. I will be signing up for evolvr next week. With that out of the way i did not really understand much of your response as it was a bit technical for me. :-(

Excuse that please it was night time practice

Here i am with a 6i i have a lot of forward shaft lean at address but i was hitting balls super pure. Is that lean ok?
-
Thanks so much. I feel like I had practiced so much and was only getting worse. Once i focused on not "swaying" back and forth and keeping upper body in place I literally had the best practice session of pure shots ever. Btw I had a glove under lead arm as I read it helps to feel connected. I still see some chicken wing there but definitely improved.

:( that is a bit open ended to look for the solution. I have read all the previous posts by you as well as watching at all the 5sk youtube videos. I will check them out thank you. Small question on grip while the top hand should point toward rear shoulder. The bottom hand v can go to rear shoulder as well but it can also be a bit neutral and v point towards the center or atraight up correct?
-
Left the practice swing up there from yesterdays practice...the full practice swing through what would be impact the arms are nice and straight...then when there is a ball there the arms bend :(
-
so I just realized my bottom hand (left hand) on my grip was (I dont know the term) but the v was facing the other shoulder...my right shoulder...where as my right hand the v was facing towards the left (stonger grip) I thought i was supposed to have no open space so i was making my left hand face come over more the top of the club and it was creating a V toward my right shoulder. Can someone explain to me what this would cause me to do? could this be a factor as to why I was typically only slicing with my driver? (I do think my main issue with my driver is my swing plane and coming over the top) I have a few questions...does my swing plane look very steep? I feel like I have a very steep or straight up backswing and it's causing me to come over the top...should I work on a more level swing plane? secondly, I still SEE myself but don't feel myself on full swings having bent arms at impact, specifically the lead arm...what can I do to improve this?

Ping sent me a label and is expediting repairs. I asked local dealer and they said same thing about shaft. Sometimes shaft have problems from the get go. In either case i should be good shortly
-
First swing of the day, fourth time using brand new purchased Ping g25, must have caught it off the hosel because i didn't get any of the ground. On a lighter note...the driver head must have cleared 50 yards...low spin and pretty good launch angle. on a hopeful note...can this be fixed as in remove whats inside left of the shaft in the head of the club and replaced with a new shaft? Or send it to Ping and see what they charge me to fix/replace it?

so I have titleist ap1 714 up to the w1. so my wedge ranges are pw- 44 w1- 48 then i have a 54 (ordered vokey to replace my old sand wedge which was 54) and a 60 lob wedge so it goes like this higher irons have 3 degree loft difference till it gets from my 7i-8i where it is a 4 degree loft then from my w1 - sand - lob have a 6 degree loft difference. I'm used to it this way, and will assume I will get the answer that if I'm used to it and it works for me keep it but thought id ask anyways in case there was a consensus on a better way.

I feel like I've been able to adjust to all instruction given....posture,hip sway, grip , practicing of weight transfer..but these two drills http://golf-info-guide.com/video-golf-tips/straight-golf-shots-require-fully-extended-arms-at-impact-video/ I was able to successfully practice both of these drills but transitioning it to my full swing..spelled disaster for my practice session with the longer irons...shorter irons wasnt as bad...felt like i was topping the ball or not releasing my hands at all focusing on arms being straight and ball was shooting out to the left (as a lefty)
-
The second pic is of my left or top hand which now i see was not as important to post as is my right and bottom hand. I do see where the top pic though is palmy and i know now to make sure it feels more on the heel pad
-
starting at 1:00 dude you guys are bad ass...how the heck did you even see that from my videos??
-
I made another post because I figured the issue is with my right hand...first pic is after I saw a video on grip where I feel it more on my fingers and feel like my heel pad is over the club almost like my hand is OVER the club...second pic is my normal grip where Its still in my fingers but end of club finishes in between the heel pad and the thumb pad
-
so I took some pics of my grip...took my regular grip then removed one hand and tried to get different angles...took my regular grip and removed the other hand and tried to get some angles on that one....then took regular grip and had wife snap two pics but angles are poor on those. Not sure if this is palmy or not...I'm not sure what the heel pad is

So it looks like im bunching up/bending lead arm just after impact instead of keeping it straight. Any drills to work on to keep front arm straight during and after impact till at least after club is pointing toward target?
