  1. I'm looking into buying an Odyssey Rossie 1. The old putter which is said to be Odyssey's first insert putter. The question is, do I really want the number one or two? What's the difference between the Odyssey Rossie 1 and 2? Which do you recommend?
  2. wrx..i am the buyer on shottalk! slice is the name
  3. What do you think about it? Does it perform well? What's the point of the dual adjustments?
  4. I'm looking into buying a set of irons that are +1/2 inch length. is that going to make much of a difference to my swing? i don't figure it will because i'll just adjust to the length of the clubs. should i go after these clubs or should i not look into something like this?
  5. Please can somebody PM me really quick because I have a question about a set of irons that I'm wanting to buy and I really don't want to give out all of this information to everyone. So can somebody PM me soon. I will be on to reply so if you could, please stay on. Thank you!
  6. BTW IOWA HAWKEYE...did you get my PM?
  7. I can't hit worth a darn with my 3 wood, but i do tee up with it. And i love my 5 wood. So a 3 wood and 5 wood. And obviously a driver.
  8. What are the advantages that one has over the other? The R7's are a bit more expensive than the Sumo but that's the only advantage I see that the Nike has. I haven't swung either of them. I'm going to Scheels soon to go hit some different clubs, but before that can you tell me which one you prefer and why?
  9. i can buy the steel stiff shafts for 299 bucks.
  10. Hey guys I'm 14, almost 15. I'm about 5'10" if that means anything. I would love to buy myself the Nike Sumo iron set. They seem to be a really great set of irons. I've really been needing a new set of clubs so I figured I would buy a nice set of irons and then slowly buy new woods because the woods I currently have aren't bad. So what I'm needing to know is, do you recommend these clubs? And should they fit me? On golfsmith I found a full set of Nike Sumo irons for 400 dollars. They are graphite shafts. Also, what clubs will I be getting in a full set of irons? I'm assuming 4-9, and a PW and a SW? Thanks!
  11. that's exactly what i was thinking. i don't know where it came from to be honest! there's tons of crap in my bag. a left handed putter. a youth sized 7 iron. haha..i dont know where they came from. i need to clean out the old bag.
  12. I have a 2 iron in my bag...is there any use for that? because usually if im in a position to hit a number that low, i use a 3 iron or 3 wood. on the rough or fairway. should i take it out of my bag and replace it with something like a hybrid?
  13. I do have a 4/5 hybrid. I never really use it. Should i try using that?
  14. There's a hole that I love playing at my local golf course. It's a par 3. You have to shoot over the pond. I believe it's 210 yards. I tee up with my 5 wood usually. I've tried the 3 wood before, but it's too much of an overkill. I usually pass the green by 30 yards when i use a 3 wood. When I tee off with a 5 wood, the ball goes soaring straight up in the air, and lands near the green. Question: should I be using the 5 wood on this hole? should i be teeing the ball up? do you recommend for me to try any other clubs on this hole?
  15. I've been playing a lot of golf lately. And one of my worst habits, it's not making solid contact on the ball every time. Whether it's topping the ball, chunking it, or not making contact with the center of the club...Every round, i probably hit 6-8 mis-hits. It's frustrating. I know to keep my head down, and watch the ball. I focus on a letter on the ball, like a nike sign. Any tips or drills i can do to improve consistency in contact with the ball? BTW..it's with the driver, woods, and irons.
