  2. Thank you again, guys. I really appreciate it.
  3. Thank you guys for the answers and suggestions. That makes me feel a lot better about playing there. Much appreciated.
  4. Hey guys, I'm new here, but have a question I hope you can help me with. I am getting married in the Palm Springs area coming up, and was planning a golf outing. I have a connection at Mission Lakes Country Club and have been given the opportunity to play a round there with a few friends and family members the weekend of the wedding. There is a group of 7 of us. 4 are fairly high handicappers, and 3 are pretty decent golfers. My question is, I have never played at a private course. Will we be uncomfortably out of place playing at a nice private course like this? For me, the thing that makes golf not fun anymore is when someone is right on your tail pressuring you, or giving you a hard time for not being as good. I play ready golf, understand rate of play, try not to slow anyone down, and will pick my ball up if a hole is getting out of control, but sometimes it takes us a little longer because we aren't great. Would we be better off playing at Desert Willow, a nice public course, or should we take advantage of this opportunity? I was thinking it actually might be even more crowded at a public course, and it would cost us quite a bit whereas the private course would be free. I would love to take advantage of what might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but I also want to make sure I have a good time. Any information any of you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
