  1. I did find this article though I don't know how accurate it is. https://golf-info-guide.com/golf-equipment-news/waterlogged-golf-balls-to-play-or-not-to-play/
  2. I started this thread a week before I started my job at a golf course and before I got free bucket of balls to practice with. And in those two months I've accumulated 325 golf balls ranging from Titleist's new AVX to 40 year old Spaldings and Rams. I appreciate all your help as I thought this thread would have just been passed on by.
  3. Same here. I am the master of finding balls...just not my own.
  4. Oh. Crown Point is where I was born and where I was playing a round today. I never knew McLaughlin was a local company. I will see if there is any history about it here.
  5. Also that is a hideous club. Not as bad as the Ailen Sport one though.
  6. Wow. I am always impressed by the speed of responses I get on these random questions. Thanks so much for the information though!
  7. The golf course I used to work for had a bucket of clubs that players have left over the years. The starter told me that I could take any clubs. So I found this club and didn't know if it was a good club or not. Anyone know anything about "Trend"?
  8. That is how I get most of my balls now. I remember on one hole there was a wooded area to the right of it. Of course I landed near it and saw one ball in the woods. Then another... and another... and another and so on until I came out with 25 of them.
  9. I have looked at amazon but was wary of the quality. If you recommend it I will certainly go back.
  10. I've heard of them before but never really looked. I'll check them out further.
  11. Ah. Okay I misread the then. Still a fantastic deal.
  12. This seems like the set up for a bizarre heist, but feasible. How many are you getting for the $0.50?
  13. I really should go to the Walmart near me (less than a mile away), but it sits on an old Country Club (Woodmar Country Club). I am just a bit bitter that the land from the course was used by a Walmart. But, I guess I will have to put my resentment aside a take a look.
  14. That is probably what I will go for. I love the weird or uncommon manufactures for balls so I will check them out. Thanks!
  15. Preferably $15/dz or less. That probably explains why I find the Nike Mojos all over the place. From what I can remember they aren't that bad of a ball.
  16. I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheap ball that wouldn't put me into financial ruin if I was having a off day. Such as losing a ball per hole. I am one of the people who if a hole has water on it I will inevitably end up in it. I currently play with reclaimed balls that I have found on the course (nearly 300 balls in total) so it isn't that big of a loss. However, as of lately I wanted to experience what a new ball feels like, but I don't want to go into debt when I lose them. I heard Fuzz was a cheap ball but I couldn't find any new information on them. So if anyone knows of a decent cheap ball please let me know. Thanks.
  17. About two weeks later I have another ball I found at the range. Let's see if anyone can find info on this one?
  18. I'll try to and when I'm not playing rounds I'll be here.
  19. I just thought the ball was so random that it would have taken longer for an answer.
  20. Wow. I was not expecting anything to come from this thread. Thank you so much for the quick response.😀

  22. So last Friday, I went to my local driving range and found this ball that I have never seen before. I have tried googling it but found nothing about it. If anyone has any information (Age, Brand, History) or even where I could find that information it would be greatly appreciated.
