Absolutely! I love the fact that the golf community is almost always willing to come together to help out fellow golf addicts. Unfortunately, I do not have any experience with journalism, but I was trying to figue out how to pitch this idea to either Golf Digest, The Golf Channel, or some other publication/TV company. Any ideas, or people I could talk to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the input. Oh by the way, I did set up a blog at mygolfjourney.wordpress.com. Not much yet, but hopefully people enjoy it.

I'm trying to play the Top 100 Courses in America all in 2010. Any suggestions on how to get on these courses?

I've got a contact at TaylorMade, so I think I'll start there. Just trying to figure out how I'm going to pitch it to them. Any ideas?

I was kidding. Just a little humor to show my fanatasicm about golf.

I've been dreaming of going to Bandon Dunes for years now. I'm going to take an epic golf journey next year and golf 100 courses across the US. I'm scheduled to hit Bandon in early November. I don't care if it's raining and howling, I'll be smiling the whole time I'm there!

That might be what happens. If I can't get enough contacts by Thanksgiving, I'll be changing my course. Golfing the Top 100 Public Courses won't be as sexy, but it will still be amzing.

You've pretty much nailed my route right on the head. I will be starting in La Quinta, CA on or near the 1st of January, then going to Vegas, Arizona, then on to Texas. As of right now I'm worried about Tulsa, OK in January (never been there, so I have no idea what the weather will be like), Idaho in late October, and Oregon in November. I'm sure I'll run into terrible weather at some point, but if I can golf in Northern Ireland in November, then I can golf anywhere!
