  1. yeah I noticed that too. The hats on the website aren't the same as the ones they wore. The players hats just had the trophy and not the rest of the emblem surrounding the trophy. I couldn't fnd anything on the web either though.
  2. Alright, now I feel like an idiot, but the serial # is on the 7 iron and not the 5. TM did say the 5 iron but after asking around to a few more people, everyone said the 7 and I rechecked in better light and yes it is there. So all that worrying for nothing! Thanks for the help everyone. And to JamesDuncan, I guess the best advice I can tell you is find someone with a lot of feedback if you were interested in buying from ebay, which I'm sure you already figured out. I did take these out to the range yesterday and I hit some very solid shots. I haven't played a lot lately and for musclebacks they are pretty forgiving. You can definitely tell if you don't hit it squarely but it'll fly fairly straight.
  3. This is weird because I just purchased a set from a reputable seller on ebay with close to 2000 feedback and the set doesn't have any serial numbers. I went to the local Golf Galaxy and their set didn't have any either but when I asked a few other sellers on ebay they said that their sets do have them. So what do you think I should do? Is there any way to check if they are authentic? I've hit with them and they feel nice but now I'm paranoid that they are fakes!
  4. Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if the set mentioned in the title has serial numbers or not. Thanks alot!
  5. Thanks for all the imput. I am leaning more towards the Titleist 755's. From the reviews that I've read they are fairly forgiving and they look pretty good. I'll try to get to the proshop tomorrow or so to see if they have them there to test. has anyone heard or hit with these clubs? I guess if I were to choose by looks I would pick the MB TP or the Nike Blades, of course those are the ones with the smallest sweet spots. I've been out of the loop for a while so if anyone has any suggestions on what irons to take a look at that would be very helpful.
  6. Hello everyone, I am having a hard time choosing an iron set. I haven't played for a while and am just becoming very interested in the sport again. Honestly, I am not that good right now. I'm am going back to graduate school so I have plenty of time to play and hit at the range. What I am having a hard time deciding is if buying a set of musclebacks would be bad for me. I know that you need to strike these almost perfectly since these are so unforgiving but I think that this would eventually help my swing since it forces me to hit the ball cleanly. Am I crazy and should I just stick with some cavity backs? The couple sets that I am currently looking at are Titleist 735, titleist 755, TaylorMade r7 cgb, TaylorMade MB TP or Nike Forged Blades. Are there any clubs I should look at that aren't on the list? Any input would be great. I have tested a few of the clubs and some of them have felt fairly similar, when I hit it squarely that is. So please, post away and thanks in advance!
