Purchased these irons in 2020 from globalgolf -- yeah, that's right, this Summer, 2020.
$200. My first set of irons.They arrived in great shape (declared to be "mint", which they were.) I suspect they sat around in a garage or attic for some years. Great to learn on. The mishit 'punishment' or UN-forgiving nature of these old irons is just what I want to learn how to hit irons correctly -- though, in fact, they have their share of 'forgiveness' given that they are cavity back. Meanwhile, I held the 7 iron up directly against an Apex 19's 7 iron I picked up used (with graphite shaft). Heads are nearly identical. Certainly in shape and design, though I suspect the weightings are slightly different in the attempt to add more forgiveness to the Apex 19s over the 2009 X Forged ones. I may just swap out the 105g regular shafts for graphite and keep using them. Though tempted to go for some new Apex or Apex Pro.
