I guess I’m old school but to me this is inappropriate attire for a tour professional. You’re right about Snead. Even as a pro, when Sam was struggling he would take off his shoes and play barefoot.

Shorts are probably not a good look for many tour players. I hesitate to name them.

Here’s a close-up of Van Rooyen’s pant legs. The bottoms are elastic like sweatpants.

I was griping about Van Rooyen playing in joggers. My son says joggers are part of contemporary fashion. To me they are akin to sweatpants and inappropriate for tour events. Am I an over-the-hill curmudgeon?
