  1. Thanks for your responses. I will hit them for a couple rounds and see how it feels and will compare with the distances Im actually hitting. Thanks again.
  2. There are some clubs I use for a range of distances like my hybrids and wedges. I would add 10 yards to the 5 wood and hybrids if used from the tee. Driver 250 5 Wood 230 3 hybrid 210-220 4 hybrid 200-210 5 iron 185 6 iron 175 7 iron 165 8 iron 155 9 iron 145 P 120-140 52 100-115 56 80-100 60
  3. Hi, I'm waiting for my new irons (TM CB 5-7, TM MC 8-P) and they should arrive in a couple days. However, I noticed there is a change in the loft of these new clubs compared to the ones I had before. I had the r7's and their lofts are 5 - 25deg 6- 28deg 7- 32deg 8- 36deg 9- 40deg P- 45deg The loft on my new irons are: 5 - 26deg 6- 29deg 7- 33deg 8- 38deg 9- 42deg P- 47deg I've been hitting my r7's for 4 years and I'm used to the distances on each iron, my question is if I should adjust the loft on my new irons or adapt to them as they come.... What would you do? Thank you.
  4. I got fitted for the px5.0 4 years ago. I´m striking the ball better and further now but I´m not sure if I should stick with the same shaft. I will get fitted tomorrow and will get an answer. For some reason, TM is not selling these irons with 5.0, that´s what I was told at the store and if you try to custom-order from golfsmith.com the options are 5.5 and up. Thanks
  5. Hi All, I went yesterday to get some new irons at the Golf Mart in South San Francisco. I currently play r7's with PX 5.0 shafts. I've been playing them for about 4 years and I think it's time to make an upgrade. I'm happy with how I hit my irons, my distances are: P 135 9 145 8 155 7 165 6 170-175 5 180-185 4 190-195 After trying some clubs I decided to go with a mix of the new TaylorMade forged irons, MC and CB. The question is, if I should stick with the PX 5.0 or go for 5.5. I found out later that they don't put PX 5.0 into these clubs. I hit the clubs at the store with the 5.5 and felt good, but I'm not sure if I'm going to have a hard time with these shafts. How different are they from the 5.0, do you think I would have a problem with the 5.5 considering my distances and swing speed (88-93 average)? Thank you!!
