  1. It is impossible for me to tell if you would break 90, but from what limited knowledge I have about the golf swing, it seems you may want to get on a more even plane. Maybe try slowing your swing/tempo. With your arms sort of bouncing around, you may find it difficult to be consistent. It is also hard to tell without slow-mo but it looked to me like at impact your shoulders and hips are back where they were at address. I believe they should be slightly open (hips moreso). Once again just my thoughts but they may be wrong.
  2. You do drop your hands in the start of the downswing, which is usually a good thing, but they go too far inside. I think this can lead to inconsistent play (pushes/slices).
  3. Agreed. You seem to be using your arms in the back swing more than your torso. Remember that you should start by moving your shoulders/upper body and allow the arms to be along for the ride). Helps keep the swing less armsy. Just my 2 cents.
  4. Thanks kennay92. I did some checking online and found out that I put my weight on my outer right foot on the back swing when in fact it should be towards the inside/heel. I most certainly do sway at times. I need to compact my swing for consistency and power.
  5. Strangely enough, there is very little difference in my best and worst clubs. My driver is my worst, but my best is my 3-wood off the deck. Weird I know.
  6. Thanks delav! I knew I needed to have more hip bump forward, but had no idea about my hands!
  7. Thanks kinnay92. I have read both schools of thought on early vs late wrist cock in the backswing. I start early as it helps me keep my swing fluid (as fluid as I can anyway). I also would like to add that I tend to top/fat the ball fairly often and I do not think it is a loss of posture. Anything else that can lead to this...?
  8. Hello all, Thank you for taking the time to read my post and offer your assistance. At the current time, I am happy with my distance, but I lack control. Specifically, I tend to either pull or push (rarely slice). I would say, I hit 50% straight, 30% left, 20% right. I would like to reiterate, that rarely I slice or hook it (maybe 5% of the time. Can you take a look at my swing below and give me any tips that will help me with consistency? The vids are in slow-mo and I have side and back views. Thank you for your input and I look forward to contributing on the forums. DTL Side
