  1. Last year in Highschool golf (i was a junior), i ended the year with an 80.25 average over 10 meets (12 shot improvement from the year before), and missed state by a stroke after going 48-35 (Single-A class) . Through the summer i only improved, and would be surprised if i shot over par all week combined at my home course. Expecting a good year this year, i came out, and so far, over 6 meets, i have yet to shoot better than 95, and have shot 3 times over 100 (including a 110). I have 9 days before sub-sections (next comes sections, then state), and i am in desperate need to get out of this slump. My problems vary from day to day, and no pattern seems to form. Ill spray a fairway left and right then sink a 40 foot putt for triple, or hit a green in regulation then 4 putt for double, even leave a chip short then skull it over only to chip it in. I get 3+ birdies a round, but still manage to shoot these terrible scores. Big numbers are my problem. Any advice to solve my slump? Or a reason why i may have developed this? (only club i changed was a newer version of my old driver, taylormade burner)
  2. Long Par Five 18th hole, after a LONGGG day on the links. Hit a very unclean and thin drive, maybe going 220. Had about 320 to the hole, being frustrated, pulled driver off the deck, cross/head wind, crushed it about 40 yards short of the green. Hit wedge, and again, hit it thin flying over the green about 4 feet high. Struck the pin, and dropped straight down, about a foot from the pin. Make birdie....ending bang bang (birdie birdie). 95 with 5 birdies...ugh
  3. I was golfing in a Highschool Tournament, and my group and i started to tee off on a hole. Another guy and I stood a few feet behind a lefty, as he lined up his drive. Then, a ball buzzed inbetween me and the guy, through the legs of the guy teeing off, and mid-swing, hit his ball off the tee, and into the water. The sheer timing and precision that accounted for this happening was remarkable. Ever seen anything like it.
