  1. I totally agree with the stack and tilt idealism of swinging but, I feel it's a visual deception of some degree. Much like when a baseball player powers through his home run hits. It give the visual that he's leaning back so to speak where in reality, his hips are driving through and creating separation between his upper and lower body with muscle stretch.
  2. I've been working on power since I can remember. I know they all say you put for dough etc. but I want to be very close to the pin when I put for dough because I'm a greedy SOB. This of course inherently means hitting the ball further. I have a small site with a few choice articles on hip power up while I'm working on a bigger golf site. The little one's at www.golfswingu.com . I've got a good power article there for anyone who wants to check it out. Ty
  3. You hit it straighter because a stiffer shaft kicks less. If you have a stronger swing, you'll bend a less stiff shaft more. It'll actually kick at the ball earlier and more vigorously than a stiffer shaft will. Aka, stiffer shaft, less amplified misses. Odds are the x flex shaft is still pretty stiff even though it's been sitting in your garage and your swing speed isn't too low to benefit from it.
