It's time to re-grip my Adams Super S set (3 wood, 3 & 4 hybrid and 5-S). Have a new driver and putter, happy with stock grip on them. For the new grips I am looking for something with a softer feel without being as soft/slick as tradtional wrap. Anyone have something they enjoy using or recommend a particular brand/type? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hey guys, I have been playing golf for over 15 years and never had a lesson. I started playing using the ten finger grip and haven't changed. I feel like my grip may be contributing to some of the problems I have had. Long story short I am going to try to change my grip to an interlocking one. I have played around with it a bit on the range and it always feels very strange to me and I don't hit it well, which I know it to be expected with swing changes. My question is, how many of you have changed your grip and how long/hard was it to get comfortable with the change?

I just remind myself to swing nice and smooth and try to make a good pass. Helps that we have a short par 4 on the first. Which also can add pressure to birdie the first as it's one of the easiest holes on the course!

I agree with what a few others have said. Focus on hitting good shots and gaining confidence. You are going to hit a lot of balls poorly as a beginner. Heck, I have been playing for 15+ years and I still hit a lot of bad shots. I would say rather than trying to get to a certain number just try to improve a little each time out. Practice, Practice, Practice!

I picked up a new set of clubs. The Adams Super S full set, bag included. D 3W 3H 4H 5 6 7 8 9 P S LW (previous club not in set, Zevo Power Sole) Putter Really liking them so far, it's an adjustment getting used to the new length and feel from my 12 year old set they replaced. Also picked up a box of Pro V1x's
