@Bruce - I normally hit a slice but lately Ive switched to a "strong" grip and now I keep hitting a bit to the left. (Im right handed.) Im still a beginning golfer and I have some things to work on... downswing before moving my body forward and trying to get rid of that out to in swing. But, out of every 10 balls I might hit 2 fades and the rest are straight or to the left. @tweaky - Im sure he is a qaulified. He is the clubfitter for Roger Dunn. How qualified he is... Im not sure. I did pull the trigger and purchased a R9 460 driver with an Aldila re-ax 60 shaft with a R9 3 wood with a Motore 70 gram shaft. Im hitting the driver really well. I didnt want to pay the extra 150 for a TP driver for the voodoo shaft so I am hoping the Aldila 60 is good enough.

@Tweaky - I did go to a club fitter and this is what he gave me. The thing I find off is that he recommended 2008 fairway high launch burners and 2009 Burner driver. Both of these clubs are for a low swing speed. (looking at information from TM website). And, I did try a R9 TP driver (my friends) and I was hitting that club pretty well. So, this is what caused me to look into high swing speed clubs. @WUTiger and TinCupTampa - This is where my question truly lays. If I switch to a R9 driver, the standard R9 460 driver comes with an Aldila re-ax 60 versus the TP version comes with Aldila voodoo SVS6 shaft. Im attempting to read more on what constitutes a heavier gram shaft versus which shaft is best?

I got fitted for clubs and they told me that I have a swing speed of 110-115. While looking to replace my 4 iron with a hybrid... i noticed that the current fairway woods (burner high launch) are for slow swing speeds. Should I switch to "tour" or R9?

I shot a 117 at El Prado golf course. Best thing about this is that in 3 holes... i blew 18 shots. So, at least I know I can improve dramatically.

3 month beginning golfer and all ready scored an eagle!!! Crazy drive with a crazy 3wood shot... and I got about 2 feet from the hole on a par 5.
