  1. Here is the skinny. I know that seeing a club maker is the best way to go. Been there, done that. I would like to know fellow golfers / club makers opinion on this. Bottom line, I am trying to gain distance and bring down the ball flight. Spec. - Hibore XL - 10.5, Regular OEM Shaft. Will a heavier shaft bring down the ball flight but will I sacrifice distance? I know that a lighter shaft will generate a faster swing. But, more distance? Thanks...
  2. LOL. No MANDALS here. I guess it is different out here in Cali. Most men wouldnt be caught dead wearing MANDALS, on or off the course. Good luck with that....
  3. Is it necessary to keep the total weight of the cartridges at 16g? I would like to keep the 14g cartridge & add an 8g or even 10g to the toe. This would only create more MOI & change the swing weight, right? Has anyone tried adding more weight then the 16g' s? Any input would be sweet. Thanks
  4. Welcome. Wet & Windy.. LOL I believe you my in laws told me that the weather back home is wicked at the moment. I feel for you..
  5. Are forged game improvement irons as forgiving as cast iron game improvement irons? I play the Rac OS 2 but am considering the Mizuno MX 25. Just wanted some input. Thanks.
  6. Here is the deal. I have went thru 3 different drivers over the past 5 months. I cannot get the right shaft / loft combo going, so I am always trying different drivers. I have decided to stick with the Cobra F Speed driver but was not sure on the loft & / or shaft combo. I had the 10.5 w/ the stock Aldila shaft made for the F speed but found my balls ballooning too much. I tend to hit high shots anyways, so I was hoping that the Aldila shaft would bring the ball flight down a tad bit. It didnt. My question is.... Would I lose distance if I shoot down to a 9* or should I stick with the 10.5* & change to a shaft that will bring the ball flight down some? Would that 9* be harder to keep straight? I played a 9.5* R5 prior to this quest. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks...
