  1. Hi everyone, I am new to this site as of this morning. I am a 22 year old male and just started playing golf two months ago. I inherited a set of Ping Karsten I irons 3-9 and a wedge from a retired friend of mine and have been using those as I learn how to golf. So far my best 9-hole round has been a 49, though I am generally in the low-mid 60s. Seeing as I do not know much about golfing or golf clubs in general---do you think these irons are acceptable for a beginner, or should I look into getting something more recent? Thanks a lot for any input, -David
  2. Played a quick nine holes earlier this morning and shot a 63. Decently happy with it.
  3. Playing the first hole of the day for me (par 4), I somehow managed to get right next to the green in two shots. I proceeded to chip my ball over the cusp of the green and watched in fascination as the ball rolled steadily down and into the cup for my first ever birdie!
  4. I'm a recent college graduate (Biology major), age 22. Obtained my first pair of golf clubs two months ago (Karsten I) from a retired friend of mine and have become addicted. Recently purchased my first driver and am immensely loving the sport of golf---wish I had started sooner!
