Guidelines

This site has one real big rule: behave like a human being.

You can be cranky. You can disagree. (Heck, we encourage disagreement, so long as you don't take it personally.) You can knock, attack, agree with, like, argue with, etc. the posts or ideas or statements other people have made, but the line is drawn at disrespecting the actual people. Call a post stupid (if that's your opinion); don't call a member stupid. Respect other human beings even if you completely disagree with their take on something. Give them the benefit of the doubt - text is a difficult medium to use as it conveys no tone of voice. Sarcasm in particular, often used among friends, doesn't often come across online as it does in person.

Please remember that at the end of the day, we're just here to talk about a silly game where you knock a ball in a gopher hole. Golf is a game of honesty, integrity, and so on. But at the end of the day, it's just a game. Let's not take ourselves too seriously, please.

Don't be a scumbag, don't take things too seriously, and be real while giving others the benefit of the doubt.
