My ideal shirt would be made of a hi tech fabric like that of foot joy. It would be habe to be a little longer in the body to enable it to be tucked in and STAY tucked in. I dont like fitted shirts so it would be loose fit and come in a range of colours

I was under the impression grip size was to do with the soze of your hands only, however ive been reading it can also affect the shape of your shots? I play mid soze but have recently been playing a driver with a normal grip. Also the choise of grips in normal size is much better. If it helps at all i always ware a hole in my glove onthe part where to top of the shaft touches the glove although i do have some shaft poking out of the top of my grip.

We still have not got the R11S in spain. Can you guys tell me the difference between the normal and the TP version? Also what the difference is between all the RBZ 3 woods are ?

my pal has just got 5 scotty cameron Ltd eddition putters from the rep. there are 5 modals and all are number 1 of 500. its says number 1 of 500 on the head and the head cover. they are expensive if i want to buy one but has there been any other putters like this that have gone up in value ?

I had the chance to test a few clubs with trackman the others day, I was alone so dint understand really how to use it but I noticed on thing. I was only using a 7 iron as it was the only club and shaft combo in all the clubs I wanted to try, any way most clubs had a launch angle of 22-24 but the Taylor made MB had a angle of 26-27 but with the same distance. What is the optimal launch angle of a 7 iron ???

I've been Playing both now for a while, I find the z star to be longer off the T and fly higher how ever have less feel around the green but the same stopping power and spin. I find the cover on the z stat cuts up alot faster than the TaylorMade which is a big factor given the price over here ! The feel on the TaylorMade all over the course is much better in my mind than the z star and I find it more consistant when putting ! So with that what the heck do I play ! Give me the distance of the z star with the feel of the TaylorMade, the spin of rather and the cover of the TaylorMade but without the seam ! Why the heck is there a seam !

I have the opportunity to trade in my current 3 or 4 month old CG 15 wedges for the Japanese CG 15 FORGED versions. Has anyone compared the two versions back to back ? I'm not sure on the bounce options, I play in Spain on hard courses with tight lies. Does anyone have the forged version currently ?

Following of from the numerous GPS threads can you current owners advise me on which is best or the pros and cons of your current modal?

I was going to ask the very same question. Ive been looking or a while and have used both. I really feel that a GPS is better as im not bothered to a few yards and i cant be bothered to keep checking distances etc witht he range.

YOur grip is wrong ! you are also droping your shoulder rather than turning it do you shots start straght then go to the right ? Seamjs you are all shoulders, just like me !

I went to get a new clickgear cart yesterday. The owner of the store (who is a friend) wasnt there and as i like a deal i called him. He didnt have the colours i wanted so i asked if he could order me two, one for me one for the misses. He sent me a text message this morning saying "brand new clickgear out next week". So is this a new modal or is it the coulour WHITE isnt out till next week ?

Storm proof yes, lightning proof no as i would not play in lighting. It would not just be the umbrella but also my clubs that would need to be OK ! i think you are solving a problem that does not exists.

I got my R11 cart bag, looks great but badly designed in my opinion. When i looked at the bag i commented that it looked like it wouldn't fit a buggy correctly without leaving pockes in accessible but was told it was fine. Well this bag is pants. Does not fit a Trolley without leaving pockets out of reach also on a buggy its the same. It sucks.

I think you are missing my point here, or maybe you guys dont get the same problem in the USA !!! I strongly believe that the current sizing from the likes of Puma, Nike, well all the big names is NOT in line with the current average body shape. I'm 28 years old, 6ft2, 19 stone and i can JUST squeeze into a Nike dry fit XXL. Now if i try a XXL from the same maufactuer but a different shirt it might not fit. One wash and the dry fit is pulling on my shoulders during a swing. The other think that gets me is why make a shirt for in XXL but not the same size in pants !!!! It does not make sense !!! I find ALL shirts to short, i am one of the people you see on a course with shirt hanging out, simply because i CANT tuck it in. If you see my vid with my swing you will see my body shape, in in a ASHWORTH shirt there which is big enough but its like a tent !!!

I would like to add my thoughts on this. Most manufactures do a "fitted" golf shirt, just viewing the Masters made me think how far these guys had come in terms of fitness and body shape etc, i mean did you see the size of the shoulders on tiger !. My pal has done exactly what you are proposing, called Levente Golf, and to be fair his stuff is good quality at good prices, but even in XXL i cant get anywhere near it, as cant most of the average golfers. Looking at the profile of the "AVERAGE CASH RICH" golfer (now i haven't actually done this properly so i am taking a Guess) i would say he is 35+, married, couple of kids, plays on a weekend with his buddies, goes for a beer after a game, and is larger than your athletically fit guys. These are the guys spending there money and these are the guys I would be going after. Golf is expensive as we know all to well, recently i went on a shopping trip for new gear, clubs etc. I went back this week to get some summer tops and shorts as the weather has turned here in Spain. We have a huge where house type place up the road selling most brands. You can see my size from the topic with my swing. From the whole shop i could only find 1 top from Nike that fit me (XXL) and the rest from Asworth (who are known for big sizes) Only one brand with a pair of shorts that fit properly , Cutter and Buck. Yes i could find other pants and shorts but they either needed pulling up round my neck or on my hips. The problem with this is the shorts were over €80 and 3 tops came to €180 so i got a roasting when i got home. The other thing wrong with it is the Ashworth tops are cotton, and i would like to take advantage of the materials like Dry Fit from Nike, Climacool from Adidas, the Nike top i got is great, its kind of perforated. (i have looked on-line for others but cant find them, its 100% polyester ) So to wrap this up i would go the other way, produce a line that fits us normal to bigger guys COMFORTABLY with hi tech materials and i would by your gear straight away. And dont forget us bigger guys make up most of the market AND ANY BIGGER GUY WILL TELL YOU........................................ WE REMEMBER WHAT BRANDS FIT US PROPERLY !!!

I know not many will play this course but im hoping google may pick up this thread for others searching for a roda golg and beach resort review etc. Its local to me and is know as a decent "holiday maker course" they do a good deal on a buggie and tea time and you can usually get on so it made a great course for a quick round with my new stuff the other day. The man in charge of the course told me there were 6 4 balls in front of me so play would be slow. I wasnt in a hurry so wasnt bothered one bit. If anything it would give me time to hone in my swing. It was slow, but not to bad, i was waiting on the tea for about 5 mins before the group in front had played there second shot. It was no issue to me, hey they had payed there money just like me. On the 9th they drove to me and said i could go through but as there were 5 4 balls in front i declined as i had know where to go anyway. So here is where it gets interesting. On the 11th im waiting for the group to get in there buggies after playing there second shot, there is a group behind me of 2 (who i asked if they wanted to join me and make a 3 ball) and a 2 ball on the green behind them on the 10th. One of the group on the 10th shout over "will you play your f***ing shot" i looked at him and asked where he would like me to play it as they were still well in reach. He said to me i should be playing "right up there arse " to make them hurry up, to whitch i replyed there are groups in front of them and im not ruining there game by making them feel rushed. He pricided to tell me how he was the vice captin of the club and he will make sure i never play at the course (in fackt he bet me €1000 to whitch i said ill raise ya !!!). Anyway i thorght it best to call the marshall over to get him to settle down. The marshall came over and................................... agreed with them !!!!! The reason he gave was because they were members an hes known them longer. What would the official ruleing be ????
