  1. Start by hitting 20 yard SW shots by just using your shoulder rotation, no wrist cock. To hit it straight your path will have to be correct, and will cause a wide arc on both sides of the ball. Build the swing from there making sure you are accelerating through the ball. Remember this shoulder rotation is the same for all clubs. This is much harder to do than you would expect, but as you figure it out you will learn how to have a correct path and rotation both arm and body. Good luck
  2. Look for a Mizuno demo day in your area. You will find them on their site. They have that computer club that will tell you a lot. REMBER: Unless a fitter is ordering you your clubs or building them, they are not a "custom club fitter" they are a salesperson, selling you what is in stock.
  3. Some good players use lady wedges for better head feel. Also the club is 1" shorter for better control. In the good old days when I could really play, I used a Harry Vardon that was built around 1949. It had a dot face and the shaft was the first steel shaft covered with brown plastic to make it look like wood. The shaft was so soft it was more like a junior shaft, but I could make it talk around the greens. If I tried to hit it full it hooked bad, but from 60 yards it was deadly. Also you might consider some of the softer Winn grips, they wear quick if your hands don't work well together, but the are great for absorbing shock.
  4. Golfworks sells the tip. OEM clubs are not spined unless custom ordered.
