  1. Thats the deal I am waiting for... $200ish is the max I am looking at.
  2. there is also a free demo http://simgolf.ea.com/ this isnt the original simgolf circa 1990, this is` like 2003.
  3. Ya I had just looked it up: Sid Meier's SimGolf.. I saw it recently in a pack with a bunch of different games at target for like $10... It's quite a good game.
  4. Haha. I hear ya.
  5. One other program, I can't remember the name. It was made by Maxis, of sim city fame. It's like hot shots golf, but the course design was actually quite accurate, and entertaining. You also had to place the concessions conviently, and make a profitable business, otherwise a japanese business man would come and buy your course from you.
  6. Have you thought about just restoring your old irons? Maybe getting them bent, adjusted?
  7. Does anyone carry percocet in case of a golf related injury :P
  8. Thanks for the feedback. I don't really care about value, I just want a kinda classy set. Know what I mean? Something that looks cool, and is functional. Square grooves and black dot (that is my fit) are the specs I am looking for.
  9. congrats, a matching set is something to be proud of.
  10. I am looking for input and feedback about an evolving idea. I hate the idea of buying some brand new snazzy irons, to go along with my (what is becoming) snazzy set of clubs. What is your guys expirience with buying old clubs, reshafting, and gripping... essentially just keeping the ol' beatin up head. I am thinking about going for the copper heads.. I think it would be classy and timeless... any input appreciated?
  11. There is definitely lots of good golf here, on the cheap. I would personally not waste my money on a pebble beach co course, instead i'd play every other course in the area.

    ticks!

I probably will keep with my normal routine. I am normally very thourough. I went into this little barn to retrieve a nxt tour i spotted lodged in the broken roof. I'd guess thats where it found me.
  13. let me know how it goes. I have a spare pocketpc, and i can pickup a bluetooth gps receiver on the cheap.

    ticks!

So I am vehemently against ticks, i guess who isn't. But after having to pull the occasional one off of my dog I have become quite paronoid. So normally because of this paranoia I don't go looking for my ball in the woods. Well today I got stuck with a group, and so I felt compelled to go digging for my balls when they went in the woods, not to mention I was shooting like crap. It was cold so i was wearing long sleeves and long pants. Well, I get home, I am sitting on the couch rubbing my head and I pull a tick out of my hair... luckily it hadn't bit yet. Has anyone else besides me given up on ball searches to keep away from ticks? I don't like being the wimp in the group... but you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
  15. I think often, we avoid making ourselves look like utter asses on here, as it is a mans sport, but without the admission of mistakes, how can others learn from them.
